A rather underrated Naruto shinobi

So I've been scouring through some of the older Naruto Shippuden episodes, and I've been struck by a revelation of sorts.

Temari is rather massively underrated.

We didn't see much of her fight versus Tenten, but we were able to see

. Considering the fact that the fight was just announced about three panels beforehand, it's safe to say that even with a reasonable timeskip the battle was over quite quickly.

Tenten confirmed in a later match that Temari didn't simply dodge her projectiles; she literally

. Rather quickly following that, she correctly

how Shikamaru's shadow jutsu functioned in theory.

Following that she essentially

, and destroyed a forest while she was at it. Not to mention that her wind cast net managed to somewhat harm the Third Raikage, arguably one of the most durable shinobi ever shown in the manga.

Of course, most members are going to put her down as fodder, though she does have some things quite interesting in her arsenal; her strength lies in her ability to wield a fan, and it is arguable that a Taijutsu master can essentially be nullified or at least slowed down by the heavy winds that she can create, not to mention she can blow away a good amount of Katon or Suiton.

I honestly would have gone on to part 2, but I didn't really want to seem like I was taking it a bit too far.

She was a leading a whole section of the alliance in conjuction with shikamaru, so she is not underrated. She is really strong just like the K11, even powerful than most of the K11.
