A quick question

As you know the So6p divided his powers to his sons, one got the eyes and the other his body. To unlock the Rinnegan aka the eyes you need a Sharingan and Senju DNA. These two combined you'll have the powers of the second son, right? So where's the first son's powers?

I know it seems I'm overthinking this but it really seems to me that Uchiha + Senju = the second son (rinnegan)

Also, I think you are confusing the sons lol, the Elder Son had the eyes, and they are not Rinnengan as far as we know.

No, The SO6p had the Rinnegan. That's where senju and uchiha DNA comes from. Hope you're not lost, he dived his powers= Senju and UChiha. To get Rinnegan you must have both of those powers, like Madara did. Madara is an Uchiha, when he fought the 1st Hokage he got some power from him, so then we had both powers and obtained Rinnegan

Well the first son actually is said (by Obito) to have gained the power of the Sage's eyes, while the younger got the powers of his body and exceptional life force. But I doubt that if you have the Sharingan and Senju DNA that it "awakens" anything; I think it allows someone to use it, but neither Obito nor Madara have used any of the Rin'negan powers (Obito with the paths was a part of Kabuto's Edo Tensei) and I think that is rather telling.

The Rinnegan has Yin-Yang Release Jutsus, that's why you need both Yin and Yang to awaken it.
For me the Rinnegan is a Sharingan shaped with Light(=Yang).
