A quick question about Minato

Well since Minato used the ''death ripper seal'' (sorry if i didn't spell dat correctly) and would have died anyways, why didn't he just seal the whole of the Kyubi inside himself? -__-

It was too much for his body to handle and that would just be dumb. That would seal the kyuubi away forever and remember each village is given a tailed beats so it it would weaken the leaf village greatly compared to the other villages. Plus he knew that Naruto was gonna need the power to fight Obito later on in life

It wasn't the fact that Naruto was a baby, it was the fact that Minato himself was too weakened.

minato sealed half of the chakra into naruto so that he could defeat the masked man with it.

I think part of the reason he didn't try to seal the whole thing was b/c his body wouldn't be able to contain it and the rds would fail if he died before finishing. Obviously he planned to seal it into Naruto, but still.
