How is the master of the shadow clone jutsu too busy to work and spend time with his family at the same time? it seems like naruto's unwillingness to use the shadow clone jutsu to spend more time with his family and lovely wife hinata is a bit forced on kishi's part.
has anyone else thought about this?

so bolt has to suffer a life where his father is barely present and naruto has to neglect his family and bear the mental stress of the position because of plot in a manga about godly magical ninjas?

Ending was rushed imo. Kishi even said he forgot the byakugan for Naruto's children... How can you forget their eyes. Either way, Naruto not using clones could just be kishi's way of giving bolt character while pooping on Naruto's Although no other hokage used clones for paperwork it seems.

im pretty sure it would make things alot more efficient and organized but if the manga was rushed then i guess there is nothing we can do about it unless naruto uses clones in a later movie and tosses away the concept of him not using clones from the end of the manga

Well, Naruto takes the hokage business seriously. I know, I feel bad for Bolt or Hinata or Himawari. But making clones and leaving the matter to them, would simply show how uninterested he was with becoming hokage. I must say, now that everything is in peace, and there is no war, Naruto will spend tons of time with everyone. We can easily say that he cares for his family and will stay with them for longer in the future.

Remember the filler episodes that showed that the shadow clones had feelings too? Naruto isn't trying to get negged by his own clones XD. The clones are sapient so they know when they are being used for useless purposes. Naruto remembers getting rustled by his own clones, he doesn't want that salt again Lol.

If his clones can fight battles in different locations then surely he should manage fine with one or two clones at home? It's not a case of distraction or altering optimum cognitive ability cos he was able to fight in different locations at the same time

It's not the same really. How would you feel if your dad had no time for you and just sent a clone of himself to play and spend time with you? At the end of the day, it's just a clone.

Most likely because it would fry his brain.

We never saw that clones are good at transferring large junks of different information that you actually have to remember. The Wind Training was basically the same over and over again, more like a simple muscle memory and not something complex. But using them for paperwork would be like reading a book and then stuffing all of it instantly into your brain once the clone pops.

Maybe one time use wouldn't be too bad, but day after day? He would be a potato by the end of the first year of his reign.

Oooh, probably the reason why don't use Kage Bunshin nor Taju kage Bunshin, because:

1.The other Kages would easily detect it as Gaara, Onoki and Madara did and it would be a direct insult to the other Kages, creating diplomatic conflicts and resulting war!

2.A clone is not the same as a real person, see "Road To Naruto One Shot".

3.Using Kage Bunshins at work would make the villagers believe that he is a horrible leader who relies on easy methods.

So which job does the clone do? Family or Hokage? Both are extremely important.

Even Naruto has enough sense not to disrespect either by using a clone.

Plus, Kishi wanted Bolt to have a reason to paint the Hokage faces. He didn't want to portray him as a bad kid - he wanted to show a little of Naruto in Bolt.
