MY QUESTION : ARE TOBIRAMA AND MINATO SENSORS ?



Sensors are those ninjas who can sense chakra... right?
Now there is more than enough proof for me to believe tobirama and minato are sensors but i am still not sure about it.

1.So we know that both minato and tobirama can use sensing techniques.

I doubt a normal ninja with no sensory skills can do it.

2. Both of them sensed their respective "friends" from a considerable distance .

3. Tobirama is a senju and he have battled considerable amount of uchihas.
uchihas are known for their genjutsu and ninja ,especially the primary rivals of uchihas, HAVE to be a sensor to fight against genjutsu and to actually survive in that era.
If hashi used to fight madara, it is safe to assume, tobirama used to fight izuna, since MS izuna was said to be equally strong as MS madara, there is no way tobirama would have survived in those battles without being a sensor.

Well i think this page is wrongly translated, but, minato DID defeated 50 ninjas and then helped kakashi and rin AND we can clearly see that , he don't even have a scratch after all this! This a big feat, which i think isn't possible to achieve for a non sensor ninja.

What do you have to say, Are they sensors or not?
I would be glad to have a good discussion on the topic.
Also tell me, does my proof changed your opinion ?
And yeah, plz give a valid reason if you disagree with it.

I doubt Tobirama and Minato are sensors but they are still able to sense it because it's such a strong chakra even non sensors can sense it.

Yes they are both sensors that use the same technique where they place their fingers on the ground and can detect the enemies presence

Tobirama seems like a sensor, since he was able to sense Hashirama's cells in Orochimaru, but I'm not so sure about Minato.

I agree with him; solely being able to feel powerful Chakra does not dictate that you are a sensor. Remember, Orochimaru, Sasuke, Suigetsu and Jugo could feel Naruto's powerful Chakra, yet none of them are sensors...​

Minato and tobirama used the same technique
i.e pointing the one finger to the ground which might be sensing technique or based on vibrations IMO

So may be they are sensors

but when Minato sensed chakra of Naruto and Kuruma in chapter 620 since it was huge chakra even sasuke sensed it along with Orochimaru and others when they arrived in Konoha .....

If they were sensors type they should have sensed it earlier so I am little bit confused on this one

It's a fact that they are both sensors. They could both detect the presence of people within an area by simply placing their finger on the ground.

Tobirama could also detect how Orochimaru's new body was made almost entirely from Hashirama's cells.

Hmmm I am not sure about that.
First of, Oro few chapters before said that Naruto's chakra was traceable even from non-sensors, probably because it was very big.So Tobirama and Minato, who are very skilled ninjas, might have sensed the same thing Oro and co sensed.Plus Minato is Naruto's father he had left some of his chakra inside him,so I guess it's easier to sense his chakra and presence.
Second,on the gaiden scan,Kakashi too had smelled the opponent.Minato confirmed that there is more than one and probably there are bunsins.He wasn't sure.Plus we've seen other ninjas track down opponents in a close distance in the same way.On the other gaiden scan Minato just said he defeated them.I don't see how that shows he had sensors abilities.If you remember, the enemies had already attack Kakashi and had made their location clear.
So I don't think this is enough proof to conclude that they were sensors.

I mentioned this in another thread. But as far as Minato, I read somewhere that in his FTG seal, he can sense things in close proximity. His special Kunai for example. So he knows exactly where to teleport to in relation to the FTG sealing fomula.

You could have found better examples like when tobirama sensed the 20 enemies around him or when minato knew an enemy was behind a tree before kakashi heard it in kakashi gaiden. Yes they're sensors.

Tobirama is a sensor , he sensed even Madara's chakra , Minato is not a sensor type , if he was he would know a long time ago that tobi is obito , but he didnt , Minato sensed just Naruto like Oro and Sasuke did

I saw ur title and knew you were speaking to the minority of us on the Base, which is why so few replied. Tobirama is a sensor, Minato may not be. Although he touched the ground, that is actually an old, real life technique for tracking and hunting, not necessarily a sensor technique. Example, Sasuke felt Naruto chakra because of how powerful it is, not because he is a sensor.
