A question about the tailed beasts

Ok so it's clear that the tailed beasts can age, as shown from the scene where they are young and with the sage of six paths.

However would it be possible for them to die of old age?
How old are they anyway?

My guess is they 'age' as their chakra increases, but they can't really die of old age, they can only grow more poweful.

They can't die of old age. they can only mature and stop growing old.

I think once they reach their prime age/growth, they don't age anymore and thus live forever.

I don't think they can die from old age, and they would have to be quite old if they were around when Rikodu Senin was! The best example I can give to explain their age would be like Wolverine. Once he became a man, he never ages, he always stays like that.

Their vitality doesn't naturally dwindle. If they lived during the sage's era, then they are already pretty old as far as numbers are concerned.

I think they "grew up" or "matured" physically and mentally, not aged.

As in they grew in size, strength, and wisdom, but they dont appear old.

we don't know much about 'the way they can die' because until now there's no way to kill them or get rid of their chakra forever.they only can be sealed. so I don't think they die of old age.

about them growing,maybe their appearance changes when the chakra increases....

They're made of chakra so no. Everyone's body ages. Just letting you know. But if you're immortal it'll stay youngish or adultish w/e

Tailed Beasts are Nothing.
When SO6P knew he was dying;
So he had to extract these Juubi chakra from his body;
by creating 9 tailed-beasts shell with tails, and divide the Juubi chakra into the shell.
So the tails-beast do no die.
It is strong and powerful chakra.
That is why Madara /Obito need to capture all the 9 tailed-beast, and put back into Juubi.
Also Madara/Obito did said all he need are the chakra;
As part of Kurama chakra was retrieved from the 2 brothers (forget the name, but can be found in the manga).
Also one part of 8 Tailed-beast was from portion of one of the 8 tails being retrieved by Sasuke.
Also when Kurama attacked, some of his chakra was in the air, thus one ninja took some of it, and put inside his son.
