So I was wondering... supposedly, if you agree on this, Sasuke's new eye is even stronger than the normal rinnegan since the latter derives, hypothetically, from Kaguya's or better Juubi's eye, and based on the fact that the Sage has a normal rinnegan, how was it possble for him, to give Sasuke an improved version of his eyes, while he himself hadn't access in Kaguya's improved sharingan?

Hmm yeah from appearance it seems like the Juubi's eye, so I also expect it to be stronger. I think we'll find out in the next couple of chapters..so far we've only seen some of his new powers (and they don't seem like powers you obtain from normal rinnegan). Maybe the sage can change his rinnegan into one like the Juubi's, therefore allowing him to pass on his powers?

Well the tbh, I am not quite sure that the Sage gave Naruto and Sasuke their current powers. IMO both Naruto and Sasuke's powers were reached without Hagoromo's assistance.

I think, Sage shared a little of his power to awaken Indra's chakra in Sasuke. and because of this Sasuke has those eyes. A combination of Sage's rinnegan and Sasuke's Sharingan. And instead of an EMS, he got more tomoes in his rinnegan.

And about the question,
IMO, since Kaguya only ate Juubi's fruit (as the manga says) Sage got the rinnegan.
But Indra got Sharingan, I think Sage was already Juubi's Jinchuuriki before Indra's birth and hence Indra got the Sharingan.
And about Kaguya's forehead Juubi eye. I think, as Sage said that she got hungry for more power, she must have absorbed Juubi for more power and got the eye but soon she got taken over by Juubi. And then Sage and his brother fought her aka Juubi and seal it inside himself.

I think the fruit gave her this 3rd eye powers.
But interesting explanation for Kaguya being in Juubi , she wanted more power and failed.

We have no Idea if Hagoromo has that eye and just didn't activate it during his talk with Naruto and Sasuke
