A question about Obito's actions...

For awhile now a certain page has been bothering me..​

There are two things in there that give me pause.

One:
"You were able to slip through the Uchiha's defenses and even look at the secret stone inside Nakano Sanctuary"

We know Obito up to this point had unlocked Mange Sharingan so he could read the tablet up to that point. What I'm wondering, is why he was there reading it? What could the tablet have told him that he didn't already know from Madara?

Three Explanations

1. He wanted to confirm what he already knew from Madara.

2. He wanted Itachi to notice him. I guess, but it would seem better to approach him if he wanted to talk about helping with Itachi's mission

3. Or, and this one I really like, he was there with Nagato and wanted Nagato to read it with his Rinnengan, something Madara may not have even been able to do.

The Second thing that bothers me..

"You probably know that I am an Uchiha and hold a grudge against the clanand village."

I understand his grudge againt the village. But his clan? Now the argument can be made that he just hated Konoha and by extention he hates the Uchiha, but I don't think this works and heres why. Obito knew the Uchiha were about to stage a Coup, which would effectively destroy Konoha (something we know Obito wanted), so my question is, why not help them? Instead he helps massacre the Uchiha, preserving Konoha's peace?

Explanation:

1. There must be a reason Obito wanted the Uchiha dead. I read a theory on here about how the Uchiha could stop the Moon's Eye plan so Obito needed them gone. Props to who ever came up with this because it is honestly the only reason I can see Obito doing what he did.

To those who want to say, "Oh well he was pretending to be Madara!" There is no chance that was all the motivation it took to kill the entire clan, convincing Itachi he was Madara. He convinced Minato and everyone else for that matter that he was Madara without having to go to such lengths, that is not the reason why.

So why did Obito do these things? If anyone has anything better, toss it up here.​

1. He probably wanted to see the stone himself. You might have seen pictures about the Eiffel tower, but seeing it in person is different.

I feel like that argument is just too weak. Imitate Madara for who? It's not like he told anyone, "I massacred the Uchiha."

And to your first point: Eh, I guess, it just seems a little underwhelming.

Obito likely wanted to weaken the leaf village for the upcoming war and by seperating them from the Uchiha this was easily done, of course he used Itachi for this and Madaras name so no one would suspect any of their future plans. Also Obito cares nothing about the world or its inhabitants including the Uchiha he only looks to build his own illusionary existence.

Right, I understand your point...I think. But what I'm saying is no one knew he helped destroy the Uchiha, only Itachi. So he wasn't making people believe he was Madara by doing this, even in the present, no one knows Obito helped Itachi (with the exception of a few) yet everyone still believed he was Madara. Now if your point is that Kishi wanted to make the reader believe he was Madara, I have to disagree. He had already done that before revealing Tobi helped Itachi. And even if everyone was not convinced, the scope of the incident is far too great for Kishi just to use it as a "convincer", I really think Obito had a better reason.
