A question about naruto in sage mode?

There's of course a limit of how long he can be in sage mode. The original plan for when he would fight pain would be for Ma and Pa to sit on his shoulders and gather sage mode for him while he can fight without it ever running out. Fukasaku couldn't do it because of the ninetails chakra interfering. But with Kurama tamed could he get on his shoulders now. Or with any jinjiriki would it not work.


Also, was there a failed attempt in the manga or anime when naruto tried combining sage mode with kurama chakra? Besides where he was able to resist nagato's control.

Now, he should be able to fuse w/ Ma and Pa with no problems, as Kurama was just being a dueche lmao

& it wasn't a failed attempt, it was a successful fusion w/ sage mode + initial jinchuriki

He has been entering Sage Mode quite quickly on his own for a while now, and probably has increased its duration a bit. I can't see Naruto relying on Ma or Pa any time soon; doing so against opponents of Obito/Madara's caliber would be a liability.

Naruto hasn't made any attempt to combine his modes since the seemingly unconcious instance against Nagato. It seems like a logical thing for him to work on now, possibly in the upcoming all-out fight against the Juubi.

There is a time limit before sm wears off and naruto has to rebsorb nature energy. The original plan was for ma and pa to gather the energy, so naruto could enter a nearly endless sm. However since kurama was hostile, they could not merge. Now that kurama is not hostile, naruto should be able to use ma and pa to enter endless sm.

Also the hybrid of sm and kurama chakra was in manga, and it was accidental. Naruto has not yet tried mergeing the 2 modes consciously.
