A question about Itachi

Why didn't he use kotoamatsukumi on Obito(Tobi).
If he did he will have full control over the Akatsuki and the bijuus.
That would prevent the 4th ninja war from happening.
And he won't need to use it on Sasuke because Obito won't be able to tell him the truth
Don't tell some bs that he needed to link it to his eyes to work like what he planned to with Sasuke because Shisui gave to him to use it on Danzo so he can do it without that
And the fact that he sealed Amaterasu on Sasuke to activate when he saw obito proves that he actually met him.

I think he didn't use it b/c he knows that the jutsu if used incorrectly would be a total waste, the cool down time for reuse is extremely long (doesn't it take years??), and plus he actually needed Obito to take down the Uchiha clan, he did this willingly, for the better of the village, he said he couldn't do it by himself. He was only waiting until he really needed it. He did not know Obitos intentions initially as well, he only had suspicions, I'm sure if he knew then what he knows now, it wouldnt have been a question.

He would have to know that he's about to be placed under Genjutsu to use Kamui and avoid it. Besides that, he can't remain phased forever.

Well, i do remember him using that on Mifune but as soon as people started to point out that something was wrong (like Ao), Mifune was "freed".
