I don't know. Pangea was a thing, so perhaps everyone was just scattered on this same continent?

yeah if your talking about evolution, there was some scriptures of roman scholars who said the same thing that even todays science are actually agreeing that people was originated to a single man from africa. but for me i bilieve that people started from asia, asians evolve to brown, to black into white because of the environment and some people with genes that can produce white skin and it all depends on the oxygen the harder you breath the more you could adapt to the environment, thats why black have huge dingdong because their ancestors probably lived to some higher grounds a long long time ago ??????

ahh reminds me of that song "every color, every hue.... its represented by me and you"

But according to a study I posted earlier, The tools found in Australia were far more primitive than the ones found in Africa.

That can only mean two things... Either the africans sailed to Australia and forgot how they made their tools, or the humans came out of Australia and developed.



Also dna suggests life starting in two different spots

I see. I didn't see your link but I just read a couple articles on the Australia situation and you're right. Mitochondrial DNA suggests the earliest life for that was in Australia about 400,000 years ago.

As far as the European halogroup, it said R1b is the most common halogroup in Western Europe, and as far as it's origins it said this:

It seems like the european halogroup is considered to originate from Asia pretty much, though no it's not for certain. But that does play into what I said earlier about primates being in Asia too. Still I'm not sure man. The article on MDNA also cited the Australia discovery to evolved scientific methods, so it's entirely possible that in a few decades or so our origin will be flipped on it's head again. But I can see Asia and Australia being the starting point for the different groups

Its complicated. Let's put it this way: the common ancestor of humans and chimpanzees Definitely lived in Africa (approx 5 million years ago) . But on the 'branch' that would later lead to modern day homo sapiens, there were still further splits, all of which are now extinct. The last line to go extinct were the neanderthals, who up to 40000 years ago occupied Europe and were assumed to be our direct ancestors. DNA tests done by researchers in Germany found differences far too significant for that to have been the case: the new theory is that they were replaced/beaten out of Europe by their hominoid cousins who stayed behind in Africa and evolved independently there. While are there are still 'gaps' over the exact route, one thing is clear: the neanderthal was not our direct ancestor.

As for your Australia links, aboriginals may have evolved from a more primitive homo sub family (like the neanderthals) independently, or our earliest 'human' ancestors managed to get there very early on.

Regardless, we still all came from Africa: the absence of jungles and great apes with well nigh identical DNA to ourselves in existence (chimpanzees) anywhere other than Africa are all proof of our original(more than 3 million year old) ancestry from that continent, whatever the exact routes were.
