I'm pretty sure he can't use shadow clones, however can anyone confirm that he cannot? If he can use shadow clones then what was stopping him from using shadow clones in 8 gates? He would remain unharmed as the shadow clone would bare All the stress of 8 gates. Additionally if gai could use ninjutsu he would own everyone easily, plot restricts gai

he can use ninjutsu evidence is he used the summoning jutsu as for using them in 8 gates i dont think he could mantain them for long in his normal state so i doubt he could maintain them in 8 gates mode

kage bunshin is a kinjutsu, and even if he use a shadow clone as substitute for using 8 gates, the main body will still suffer from the side effects of the tech since the stress will transfer to the main body
