a question about absorbing ninjutsu?

(I think it's the Preva Path if there is one of course) Anyway about absorbing ninjutsu what about water style Can it absorb jutsu that's used from a water source or even when tobirama uses his technique to create water out of thin air or does it only work when they spew water from their mouth

i think it isn't far idea since preta path was able to absorb jiraya's oil so the same thing go with water too
