Hi.
So i was skipping todays episode, clicking frenetically on the timeline until i got to the last scene and OK, this is probably the best scene done in the Boruto series so far. It is full of meaning.
After defeating Shikadai (This was after a ton of retcons..) Boruto finds the three defeated Konoha young Shinobis in a set of stairs, the scene starts with them sitting below, in the dark while Boruto is coming up, from the light.
As the scene proceeds, the other three go up the stairs, full of energy and a Hakuna Matata mindset (We will do better next time, the past is the past kind of thing), while Boruto goes down, even after winning. He descends to the Darkness, on a path different from the others.
I really enjoyed this analogy and expect more retcons because Boruto is being corrupted af by Katasuke, the latter is basically portrayed as a dealer, giving him the bad stuff.
