A possible way for Minato to counter a genjutsu.

What would happen if Minato were to get caught inside a genjutsu (any level), once inside he uses Hiraishin to teleport to a location where one of his kunai(s) or marking(s) are on the terrain which the battle is taking place.

Would it then cancel the genjutsu that was casted upon himself?

I know a genjutsu immobilizes a target, but doesn't Minato not need hand seals to use his Hiraishin, correct?

Well, with FTG Jutsu he does go to the other demension since it's space/time ninjutsu. As we all know, Genjutsu is actually a flow of chakra going inside a victims brain, so how can that chakra effect Minato while he's in the other dimension?

I think that when thinking logically he can counter genjutsu very easily, but people have different opinions.

Getting caught by genjutsu is like falling asleep.
He would escape genjutsu if he could use ftg while he was sleeping.

My guess is, he can still use Hiraishin even immobilized. His mind is the only thing that is needed. Just a guess of mine not a hundred percent sure.

but f.t.g don't need mobility... Minato simply thinks it and boom... He's teleported... So in my opinion it's a way to escape genjutsu

well minato could most likely dispel most genjutsu but what i believe is he would have a specific way of fighting genjutsu users as any ninja worthy of the kage name would and minato is regarded as a genius so to say he has no method against a genjutsu would be silly as he would not be as feared if genjutsu was his weakness as enemy ninja would take genjutsu users along with them in there teams when ever facing minato

So what? Hes teleported and what then? His brains still is in genjutsu,
I mean genjutsu is in your own mind not in a real place from which you can teleport xD

Seems,like a cool possibility but its merely a speculation.

i guess it depends if the chakra connection which is holdibg the genjutsu would be effected once the victim goes out of range from the manipulator.

Prob low rank genjutsu but a genjutsu like Tsukiyomi or even some of Sasuke's he cant.

No one knows for sure, but I don't think someone of Minato's intelligence will be caught in a genjutsu in the first place. Even if he was, I'm sure he has already formulated a strategy to cancel it, as the man plans for nearly every damn scenario.
