Chapter 5
Two Become Three
Lilliana: that was a good match now it’s time for the second battle between Lucy from Twin Leaf Town and Sarah from Pallet Town.
Sarah: Piplup spotlight
(Piplup is a light-blue penguin-like Pokémon, which is covered in thick down to insulate against the cold. It has a dark blue head with a primarily white face and a short, yellow beak. The dark blue feathers on its head extend down its back and around its neck, which causes it to appear to be wearing a cape. There are two white ovals on its chest and a small, light-blue marking resembles a crown above its beak. It has flipper-like arms and yellow feet with three toes each.)
Lucy: Squirtle Curtain
(Squirtle is a small Pokémon that resembles a light blue turtle. While it typically walks on its two short legs, it has been shown to run on all fours. It has large brown eyes and a slightly hooked upper lip. Each of its hands and feet have three pointed digits. The end of its long tail curls inward. Its body is encased by a tough shell that forms and hardens after birth. This shell is brown on the top, pale yellow on the bottom, and has a thick white ridge between the two halves.)
Narrator: five minutes later.
Lilliana: what a match now on to the next match.
Narrator: a few more battles later.
Lilliana: it’s now time for the final battle between Aurora from Burnie Town & Byran from Coral Bay, there is five minutes on the clock begin.
Aurora: Oshawott on stage.
Byran: Taillow Curtain.
Aurora: Oshawott use razor shell.
Byran: Taillow dodge and use peck.
Lilliana: what great moves.
Aurora: Oshawott use water gun while spinning.
Lilliana: a direct hit.
Byran: Taillow you can do it use gust.
Lilliana: what an amazing gust.
Narrator: there is now only one minute.
Aurora: time for our secret move, Oshawott use Hidden power.
Byran: Taillow use Fly.
Narrator: the five minutes is up.
Lilliana: this has been a close battle since the start but the winner by a hair is.
Narrator: the winner then appeared up on the screen.
Lilliana: AURORA!
Narrator: Lilliana then presented Aurora with the Farina towns Pokémon contests ribbon.
Lilliana: Congrats Aurora, and Goodbye everyone and we will see you all at the next contest.
Narrator: after it was all over Aurora went to look for Byran so she started to leave and she saw Adam.
Adam: Congrats on winning your first contest ribbon Aurora.
Aurora: thanks Adam
Narrator: Aurora was looking around
Aurora: hey Adam did you see Byran while you were waiting for me
Adam: no but he may be at the Pokémon centre
Narrator: Aurora and Adam then headed back to the Pokémon centre to catch Byran.
Aurora: nurse Joy can you take care of my Pokémon
Nurse Joy: Sure just leave them with me
Byran: congrats Aurora
Aurora: thank you Byran, I wondered where you went I was going to say thanks for awesome battle I did not think I was going to win I was surprised.
Byran: you surprised me to but good job next time it will be me
Aurora: we shall see
Adam: Aurora and Byran Nurse Joy was looking for you both
Aurora: okay thanks Adam
Byran: thanks Adam
Narrator: they both then went to see Nurse Joy.
Nurse Joy: all your Pokémon are in good shape.
Aurora: thanks Nurse Joy.
Byran: thanks Nurse Joy.
Adam: I so can not wait until my first gym battle.
Byran: I wish you luck Adam.
Adam: thanks Byran.
Aurora: so what are you going to do now Byran?
Byran: I may stay here for one more night then start heading to my next Pokémon contest, well I may go and do some training now.
Aurora: okay see you later Byran
Adam: we probably should stay one more night to Aurora, you should call Mum.
Aurora: okay good Idea Adam we need to stock up any way.
Narrator: Aurora then made her call home.
“Ring Ring”
Anthea: Aiden can you get that.
Aiden: sure.
Narrator: Aiden then answered the call.
Aurora & Adam: hey dad.
Aiden: hey there you two how are you both.
Adam: we are good dad.
Aurora: where is mum.
Anthea: Right here.
Adam: hey mum.
Aurora: Hey mum look.
Anthea: I was watching the whole thing with your father, as well as Ethan, Natsume Congrats Aurora.
Aurora: thanks mum.
Adam: where are Ethan and Natsume?
Anthea: I sent them to the shops they should be back.
Narrator: Natsume and Ethan walked in a second later.
Aiden: Natsume & Ethan.
Natsume & Ethan: yes dad.
Aiden: come and say hi to your sister and brother.
Narrator: they both came running.
Natsume: Hey Adam, Hey Aurora and congrats on winning your first Ribbon that was one close battle me and mum where on the edge of our seats.
Adam: Hey Natsume, Hey Ethan.
Ethan: Hey Adam, Hey Aurora and me and dad where as well congrats Aurora.
Aiden: that we where Congrats Aurora.
Aurora: thanks Dad Natsume and Ethan.
Natsume: so what’s next?
Adam: well we are going to stay here one more night and head out early in the morning for my first gym Battle.
Aiden: good luck Adam.
Adam: Thanks Dad.
Aurora: well we better go.
Adam: yeah
Anthea & Aiden: take care both of you.
Natsume & Ethan: talk to you again soon.
Aurora & Adam: goodbye everyone.
Narrator: Adam then ended the call.
Adam: I guess we should have Lunch.
Aurora: yeah good idea I am Hungry.
Adam: what do you want to do?
Aurora: to celebrate my first contest win I think we could go to that nice place I saw on the way to the Pokémon centre.
Adam: okay lead the way.
Narrator: ten minutes or so later they arrived they walked in and sat down.
Waiter: how may I help you?
Adam: I would like the special.
Aurora: I will have the same.
Waiter: okay two specials.
Narrator: he then walked off, he returned roughly about fifteen minutes later.
Waiter: here are you are
Adam & Aurora: thank you
Narrator: they then started eating, they then had some sweets, and twenty minutes later they got up paid their bill and where about to leave when a waitress called out to them.
Waitress: you’re the contest winner right.
Aurora: yes
Waitress: here, your meal here should been free but since you paid here are three free meal coupons.
Aurora: thank you.
Waitress: no problem and congrats on your first contest win.
Aurora: thanks.
Adam: wow lucky.
Aurora: yeah did not expect that.
Adam: well I may walk around a bit more.
Aurora: I will go stock up on supplies now shall we meet up later at the Pokémon centre.
Adam: yeah alright sounds like a plan.
Narrator: they then split up.
Adam: come on out Chimchar and Starly.
Chimchar: Chimchar (the Chimp like Pokémon)
Starly: Starly (a small bird like Pokémon)
Adam: here is some Pokémon food.
Narrator: Meanwhile Aurora was walking around and ran into Byran.
Aurora: hey Byran, done training.
Byran: hey Aurora, yeah just stocking so I am ready for tomorrow.
Aurora: I just had an Idea why don’t you travel with us I am sure Adam won’t mind but I will him later, so what do you say.
Byran: well it would be more fun and better than travelling on my own sure why not.
Aurora: great, once we are done stocking up we will head back to the Pokémon centre.
Byran: okay here these are good
Narrator: an hour had passed and Adam had got back to the Pokémon centre.
Adam looks like I am the first one to return hey Chimchar and Starly
Chimchar: Chimchar
Starly: Starly
Narrator: then about five min later Aurora walked into the Pokémon centre followed by Byran.
Aurora: ah Adam there is something we need to discuss can we talk now.
Adam: sure let head to our room.
Aurora: we will be down for dinner see you in a little bit Byran.
Byran: okay
Narrator: Aurora and Adam headed to their room
Adam: what’s up Aurora?
Aurora: I have asked Byran to travel with us are you okay with that?
Adam: sure the more the merrier it will be fun.
Aurora: I am glad you’re okay with it.
Adam: it’s good to travel with others I say.
Narrator: five minutes later they headed back out to have dinner.
Byran I know this place my shout.
Aurora: you sure.
Byran: yes it as thanks for asking me along.
Narrator: an hour later and they once again returned to the Pokémon centre.
Adam: well I think we should get some sleep.
Byran: I agree.
Aurora: I am tired.
Byran: see you both in the morning.
Adam & Aurora: night Byran.
Byran: night.
