I just want to rant, pure and simple. I think this fight is getting out of hand and Kishi is making mistakes and ought to wrap it up with 583. Dragon Sage Mode was cool and a big surprise and all but the two techniques we've seen Kabuto use are "make the air shake" (stupid) and "cave in". Why are those Sage techniques, but whatever I just want to point out two big errors in one page of 582.

Every time Sasuke or Itachi has used Amaterasu at ANY other point in the series, their eyes have bled. I think Kishi got so used to this he just forgot not to do it this time. The only other time was when Sasuke is first trying out his EMS on Zetsu and he uses Susano'o to launch Amaterasu but still no bleeding in this case.

Why does his eye bleed here? He has EMS remember Kishi. Now I'm willing to bet that if he ever uses it in the future there will be no bleeding because Kishi will remember he has EMS, why have him bleed.

The second part is where Kabuto says the heat of Amaterasu turned the cave back into its original shape. WTF are you on about Kishi. This is just ridiculous and doesn't really make sense to physics.

Now I know he wants to show Sasuke sitting back and letting Itachi handle things, but why doesn't Sasuke protect himself with Susano'o? They both could've used Susano'o on themselves now he is saying Sasuke just didn't activate his in time and was helpless yet Itachi knew what was going to happen and used his to protect Sasuke. I just have a hard time with this, Sasuke is not that helpless to just be standing around like "whaat" - just pisses me off because it's like he is reverting to his old style where Sasuke is helpless and Itachi is doing everything and for Sasuke's feats, abilities, and age it just doesn't make sense anymore in this situation and it is causing a lot of people on the Base to say Sasuke is a little bitch because Kishi is making him look like one.

There you go, rant finished. I really want to see some improvement with this next chapter. It is a trolling masterstroke by Kishi to say "the series is nearing its climax" and then have that climax come in a year to a year and half and have this next chapter full of flashbacks and not really progress the story when so many questions still need to be answered. Kabuto needs to be controlled/killed, Edo Tensei ended, war ended, Madara sealed or sent back after answering a TON of questions, Tobi defeated AND FINALLY figure out his identity and answer all those questions which I'm sure Madara has to be present for. Yeah do you think all that is going to be wrapped up in 10 chapters. 20? I think we've got a long way to go with all this flashback trolling and prolonging that is going on. The worst part is keeping people around by saying "the series is almost done". There now rant done.

His eyes are bleeding because using Amaterasu that much puts a strain on the person's eyes. EMS has only been said to keep the person from going blind through overuse. EMS has not been shown (or said) to keep the user from experiencing the other negative side effects associated with the overuse of the Sharingan.

I agree with the cave thing, though. I think that Kishi just needed to fill a speech bubble and had Kabuto talk about some crap to take up space.

Itachi saving Sasuke is Kishi's way of expressing the love for his little brother.


EMS only granted that light wouldn't go away. It never said the side effects would. IMO Their bleeding eyes look pretty cool.

nah, Kishi did fine. The other times, Sasuke was using ENTON, not amaterasu. that's why his eyes didn't bleed.

As CJ Mac pointed out the EMS only stops you from going blind. There has never been any reference to the fact it excludes you from straining you eye. Amatarasu does exactly that, it puts massive strain on the eye hence why it bled. Again EMS only stops blindness, nothing else.

Now whilst not always the most reliable source it proves a point. His technique essentially breaths life into an inorganic object. Therefore the cave was essentially alive, whilst the technique was active. Now consider the cave as a sort of mouth, would you like a fire burning your mouth? Not many would hence why it went back to normal. So Kishi ain't rushing, maybe people are just jumping ahead of themselves a little bit.

- the easy answer here is when used directly from the eye it causes bleeding. Fine that's ok I just thought it would be unnecessary but whatever.

I understand what you're saying with the cave and thanks for this input but if the cave had simply opened up again (like a mouth) and was wide it would be totally fine. But to suggest that thermodynamics out of Kabuto's direct usage caused the cave to snap back to its ORIGINAL SHAPE completely like it was before, well that is just a little asinine. BUT maybe I don't understand enough about the technique maybe it was just off my radar I still am not sure about it I guess it can just manipulate anything in any environment which is a little weird but perhaps I'll go to the wikia to read a little about what it is.

I am actually. It wasn't even his arm! His whole arm was Hashirama DNA stuff so that part still seems more legit to me.

And I know Kishi wants to demonstrate the Itachi Sasuke bond which I'm cool with actually he's just kind of making Sasuke look like a helpless douche which forces Itachi to save him which is what Kishi wants and it's cool but at the cost of making Sasuke look helpless only bothers me because then lots of people on the Base go, "Sasuke is a bitch and is still helpless and hasn't grown up and hasn't learned anything" - and that crap pisses me off.
