Post count... as in...the count of your posts...as in posts...

VMs as in visitor messages...the only thing you can suggest would be a visitor message count but that already exists.

Also visitor messages are not "forum posts" they are posts on your own profile or another member's profile. And counting posts through VMs is not even how vbulletin is set up. It will only be more work for the admins to do that isn't worth it. Your pots count should be posts that you posted on threads in the forum. It's the same reason why they don't count group messages, album posts, vms and etc as actual posts.

Forum games. There is an entire section dedicated to "spamming, but following the rules and having some fun." It exists to really just increase post count. Plus, there is RP where you can just role play, not fight, and just post around. The forum has a lot of sections. Just participate, have fun, and the post count should rise easily.

Your idea isn't bad, but it's really not needed as there are so many way to get your count up easily.
