a movie to watch

How many of you watched the Clannad movie?

IMO it was insane. it didn't follow the original plot of the series, instead it created and spun a new tale, one with darkness, misery, despair, and an ending that sent shivers up my spine.

I have never watched anything anime related that could create such an impact on me.

sure the first 30 minutes or so weren't really that good, but the remaining parts were enough to make me nearly crumble lol.

Have you watched Trigun Badlands that was a pretty good anime movie. Also while not technically "anime" DC comics has really good animated movies like JLoom or Batman Under the Red Hood or Flashpoint

I'm assuming you didn't watch After Story, cause it does follow most of the plot points of the series. Only difference is Tomoya's father has a bigger role now and Tomoya doesn't make the leap back in time now.

That being said, the anime is still a much more gratifying experience. That's why I try to steer away from films that try to recap a series.
