[Suggestion] A more satisfying way to rank up

Ranking up and getting enough posts to do so is more stressful and tiring then some might think. People as lazy as me or people who merely don't have enough time to post in the forum so they can rank up to Jounin or whatever other rank that they need next to learn that new class of jutsu from there senseis makes it hard on us to get on the same level as these high Jounin leveled ninja. It has taken me a few days to figure out some sort of way that might help may it be small or big so i have a questionable solution to the busy members of NB who can't find it possible to rank up fairly.

What if.. We had a small popup near the right side of the website that says something like ''congratulations'' or something of the sort when you have enough posts to rank up to that Jounin or kage level that you so wish and drive yourself to get to. Perhaps there could be a ''ding'' sound too to top it off and if not perhaps the picture behind the text will look decent enough for that satisfying feeling of that rank you so hold dear.

Another idea i came up with that might be even more questionable is a new but similar feature added to the premium section of the forum. This new feature will be a yearly contest that will give members multipost abilities that will also reach a maximum of 5,000 pages that will give every member who wishes to participate enough time to get to that one rank that they drive for.

Tell me if this is logical or not, to me i thought it was a good idea but i know a lot of ideas here are declined so it won't hurt me at all if it is declined in the end.

I don't see the purpose of your first suggestion. About the second one, every now and then the premium section has something like a contest where you can spam as much as you want, multiposting included. Now how long that thread is open depends on Zise, but it's usually for about 24 hours. Also we have forum games section which serves the purpose of increasing your post count. So there are means to increase your post count even if you don't have much time.

The first suggestion is more focused on the small members, this popup is just a satisfying thing that new members or members like me can hold dear instead of the banner changing the next time you refresh the page there is a nice welcome that will great you saying congratulations.

I get your first suggestion being that it would be the equal to a Xbox/PS's gamerscore/trophy pop ups. As for the ranking I think there could be a separate ranking system for RPing. For instance keep the post ranking for creating custom's, high rank ninja bio's, etc. but have a different ranking structure for for our characters in order to keep them constantly progressing in the RP world. For example in order to go from genin to chunin a village can host a chunin exam or something similar to the village tournaments where the four leaders of the participating villages(Kage, First Officer, Peace General, and War General) observe and decide based on performance what rank their nin earn or not earn; you could even have a mod there to approve/deny promotions. These is just my thoughts on how to create a progressing RP(for people who rarely have time to mass post) and keep the current system.

How does that make you a nerd? If anything people with grim status just have more time than a average person to sit at a computer more than normal.

It would be cool if we have different banners for different ranks.

Or we can have achievements on obtaining ranks.

I don't really get what the first suggestion has to do with this all, but we once had an achievements system. It got removed because it was quite bugged and it didn't had pop-up screens. It did however give you notifications, so the principle is the same. A while ago someone suggested an achievements system again and Zise said he would think about it and this would fall under that as we're not going to start searching for a plug-in just to get a pop-up screen for something most people already notice when the banner under their avatar changes.

In regards to the 2nd suggestion it pretty means you pay to get RP benefits, which is not going to happen as that is likewise not fair. Everything in regards to premium users is a responsibility of Zise, who is not involved in RP matters. Zise regularly hosts contests specifically for premium users, but even these might have a positive effect for RPers, that would be just a coincidence as that's not why those contests were held. So there isn't going to be something like a spam fest for the sake of gaining RP ranks. Zise might host something like a spam fest, but that would not be with the thought in mind to benefit RPers.

It isn't. Well it's possible for us to edit anyone's postcount, but we don't increase someone's postcount by decreasing someone else's who asked for that. That would make the entire point of the postcount system redundant.

Zise I think only accepts requests to reduce post counts. If you want to increase post counts, you will have to do it yourself.

I asked a Admin and they straight up said they would not accept such a offer, although they have the power to raise the post count of anyone they would like it to be fair to everyone and they would prefer people reach there post count on there own.
