[Suggestion] A more expansive Versus section

I feel like we should. It's counterproductive to have versus threads stay in the versus section away from where today's topics can be seen but versus threads with crossovers can be seen and made outside the section

They say it won't work since the power levels and techniques are different, so there will never be a mutual understanding. Some people may argue that other universes have a chakra system, while the other side say that they don't; thus not even getting into the actual argument.

Of course, it's not like the VS section we have now is riddled with debaters hugging each other at the end of VS match. So supporters could argue it won't be much of a difference than there is now, there's very little debates that members actually agree on. A lot of them go on forever. Then there's the argument that there's numerous sites that allow crossovers. However, the mods could say this is NB, and sometimes NB can make a complete mess out of simple things. I mean I have seen many debaters use the ol' "Oh gawd, NB debaters lololol". Even the debaters imply that the members of other sites are more mature. Members who are on OPB also say that there's not that many trolls or drama there.

Though these matches could work well if they're setup, with judges and all (not allowed to do a contest though).

I do agree with this, it's pretty boxed in just debating naruto characters over and over again, moreover the series is pretty much approaching its end, I think it's good we have a vivid expansion of the versus section. This is probably the first forum I've been (from all the forums I've joined) which disregards crossovers.

There are always restrictions, its mostly the same with naruto debates ive seen, some saying nope "LOL preta absorbs this" other sayings "LOL nope, theortically it shoud" thus it goes and other stuff, and most of the time this isn't even a neccessity in debates. Its usually an arguement thrown around Independently. also most of the forums outside of of NB have usually restricted from crossovering the HST only.

I suppose it does get boring debating with the same characters over and over, and over. You then become aware of everything the opposing team has before the helmets are even on. Since everyone are expecting repeats, there's not much enthusiasm left in the VS section.


Indeed. As previously stated, the fact that bickering over minor details is already present within the VS section (to a great extent I might add) is probably the biggest supporting argument for this suggestion; since that is seemingly the main reason why it's always turned down.

They already know what's up. Like 70% of the threads there are verses battles, they couldn't not notice.
