1st ,read this momokishi quote plz :

what momoshiki is telling Boruto dont make sense at all : becuz firstly, befor fighting a god ,ONE MUST BECOME BEYOND ORDINARY PERSON....or must be a god as well.....

you can't become a non ordinary person after defeating a god.


-pain quotes were much better then momokishi's B$ ...pain says he wanted to become God or is actually an god...wich clearly means that teh concept of god was teh strongest being in teh NV that remains undefeated..

So no one is gonna mention the fact Boruto took all the credit for Sasuke and Naruto's efforts ? Without them he would've never "defeated" a god that's not even on JJ Obito's level.

Pain didn't mean it literally unlike this fanfic approved villain. This momoshitty has alot of ego to be calling himself god yet still can get mopped up by naruto, sasuke, madara, obito even gai.

Momoshiki was saying that someone who kills a 'God' ceases to lose what makes them a 'ordinary' being - but he was under the context of praising himself.

For instance, imagine that someone has defeated you in a battle, and you think highly of yourself. So the person who defeated you, you most likely might think highly of that person. That's what I was getting from the fight. Because Momoshiki was full of gusto about himself, referring to the humans as 'inferior beings', when he was killed by a lesser human (a child). He wants to make it seem as if Boruto is more than he appears to be (through manipulation), but rather killing Momoshiki is not what makes 'un-ordinary'.

The context clues are there, I think.

yeah i had same interpretation as your's...im just saying that in order to defeat a god one must cease becoming an ordinary person 1st and not teh contrary as stated by momokishi

Your right.

That's why Momoshiki is manipulating Boruto with those words. What he is saying isn't true, but he's trying to make it seem as if Boruto's life changed cause he decided to kill Momo with Naruto's Rasengan.

Before that he was talking about fate and how Naruto cant share his power , so i dont think the quotes" were for nothing ...

apples and oranges...and having the ten-tails' power means you have unlimited chakra and you're nigh immortal...it damn doesn't mean others with six paths power can't fight ON PAR with you...or else kaguya wouldn't have bothered building the white zetsu army...kaguya being the strongest chakra user in the verse didn't stop naruto and sasuke from fighting on par with her

Well, its not like he was the one bragging about defeating a god. Momoshiki is the one that acknowledged him in the first place.

Funny thing is the fact that Boruto did nothing. Any other jonin level shinobi could've done what he did and even more. He's lucky plot needed him there, because he's easily replaceable in that whole situation.

Naruto and mainly Sasuke did all the work.
