A Misconception About Hidan

Hidan is immortal, not invincible.

He suffers damage as any other human would, the only difference is that he doesn't die from it. He can be cut/crushed/immobilized, etc.

In all honesty, even Sakura > Hidan. Sakura lands a single punch on Hidan and he turns into a pile of talking bones and skin. Not to mention Hidan couldn't even harm her, what with Byakugou.

Hidan is a support character, meant to be teamed up with some heavy hitter so Hidan can collect some blood and do his ritual on the side. In nearly any 1 V 1 situation, he gets horribly decimated.

Kishi is inconsistent with Hidan's durability. He took Kakuzu's massive wind attack with absolutely no damage, but got cut with a basic weapon(Asuma) and blown up by paper tags.

Kakashi managed to survive that same attack, who's to say hidan didn't pull off something similar to what Kakashi did off panel?

Sakura doesn't need the seal first of all... anyone who is thinking she can't fight a taijutsu battle against Hidan.. please go rewatch the anime vs Sasori (you won't consider it canon of course) however that only shows the things she can do with her power back then.


Hidan is pretty much screwed by Sakura. Also, what most people forget is just because he is "immortal" doesn't mean he can't be restrained, like hitting his vital body points and so on.

Why is everyone always claiming that you can put down Hidan by blowing him up with something as strong as paper bombs? That just shows that people have no idea as to what Hidan's immortality grants him.

The paper bombs themself didn't blow up Hidan to pieces, the wires [

] holding him cutted him into big pieces. When the paper bombs exploded, the explosions forced the wires to dig into Hidan's flesh and cut him apart. You can see that he was in big pieces like somebody cutted his body parts off and not like someone blew him up. [
