[Suggestion] A mini game for all members

I was sitting at my office and was just thinking about random stuff as usual and i came to a idea that i think would be pretty cool in concept but i wanted to ask how it sounds to everyone else here before i start trying to implement it. We already have ''games'' of sorts on the forum that're but not limited to: Contests, RP, VERSUS, etc. But what if we got another game that everyone on the forum could play with ease without having some sort of skill or knowledge of intense systems? Well, not too intense. I was brought to this idea by playing xenoverse 2's mini game and then i started playing a little bit of naruto blazing on mobile and thought what if we would combine the two into some sort of mini game for the forum? Naruto based of course, where members would have three characters of their choice and level them up of sorts by doing something then they could battle other members in a more simple mini game based on attacks, defense, boosts, effects of said characters or combined characters. So if someone has Itachi, Kisame, and any other akatsuki member they would have some sort of team boost effect, and all these characters would have stats and such.

Not a full on idea but its something i thought of just on the top of my head, perhaps this is a stupid idea or this could be a good idea, i'm not sure, thats why i'm asking if anyone is interested in such a idea.

Well it would be way more of a actual game than any rp because well there wouldn't be any rp actually lol i suppose it would be like rp but without the rp... its hard to explain.

Not sure what specific mafia game you're talking about though, what mafia game are you referring to?

Try to explain it more deeply if you can because I still think it sounds too much like role playing.
Any kind of mafia game that users are willing to play; they can choose themes themselves, for instance. Don't know if it will pass as a good idea, just a small suggestion

well i suppose it would be like the rp battles now but without the rp and more focus on stats and boosts with team work.

So for example:

Itachi has 100 defense and 50 attack with 1000 health

vs

Sasuke who has 50 defense and 100 attack with 500 health

Obviously Sasuke characters in this situation will have more offensive purpose whilst Itachi characters will have more defensive methods. This example is based upon a 1v1 situation, of course the stats would balance accordingly based on the three team suggestion, however lets just keep it simple.

So lets say for simplistic sake that both have fire ball jutsu but they can only use it when they build up their chakra over time, so they just go and attack each other with simple attacks or something.

I'm really not sure how it would go honestly, would probably need a team of sorts for real planning and stuff.

But perhaps there could be three battlefield slots to place your characters

So itachi, kisame, and deidara is team 1

sasuke, naruto, and sakura is team 2

itachi on left, kisame middle, deidara right

sasuke left, naruto middle, sakura right

All these characters have different jutsu and stuff, deidara is ranged so he can attack anywhere on the field, kisame can attack two because of his reach, itachi and eventually build up chakra to attack all three with a fire ball jutsu. Meanwhile sakura can heal the team, naruto depending on which one he is can and cannot reach all three, sasuke is the same because naruto and sasuke has so much versions of themselves it would be best to see how they work later on.

Good idea? This way they can move and such and whatnot. Have kinda like a virtual board or something?

OK, I see some difference now
I don't think this idea will realistically work or be accepted in the forum, I'm just unsure if users will actively participate. Again, just my opinion.
But let's see what the staff thinks about it.

We had a game like Mafia. It was popular but some problems happened with the mods and then the game died.

There are three problems with Mafia games.

1: No one wants to host a game.
2: There are not enough interested players for a game.
3: Game threads are deleted. All the hard work and fun put in the game by the host and players as such is negated.

So Mafia games would not work on NB.

On the original suggestion, I highly doubt a majority of the people will play the game. Even after all the explanations it still seems to be like the Naruto Roleplay that already exists.

Nah. This game just sounds like grinding by text to beat other members with little more than calculations... Just playing some tcg is already a much better alternative. Besides, if characters and their stats can be seen prior to battle, then there would be no real reason for anyone on the losing end to agree to a battle. If it isn't, there's no actual way for anyone to know their opponent didn't lie when they claimed their Itachi Uchiha has his attack maxed out.
