A little bummed

That Sasuke and Kakashi are probably not going to be pivotal to the plot.

We're probably not going to see much of them, which is a bummer because I really wanted to see what they would end up doing...in detail.

Like, how is Kakashi going to run the system? Will there be a new one, or is it going to be the same? How is he going to solve Sasuke's questions?

And for Sasuke, how is he going to contribute, i'm sure he's not going to just want to leave it to someone else on their own.

Are any of you a little bummed? What do you think they're going to do about the system now. Maybe they'll explain it in the last chapter.

I think every character that was shown on the movie poster has a important role in the movie, with the exception of toneri who is not shown on the poster but is just as important since main villain.

the characters on the poster are naruto, kakashi, sai, sakura, hinata, shikamaru, and sasuke. I believe each one of them will play a very important role in the movie, since naruto, sai, sakura, and shikamaru go to save hanabi. Kakashi is hokage and hinata is who toneri really wants to capture. Then you have sasuke who is the wild card since we have to see the end of the manga to really understand what happens to him.

I mean... Sasuke will probably not receive much more development in the context of this film, but I do think we will get really beyond a doubt resolution as to his EVENTUAL relation to Konoha/world/people. Maybe it will be persistent isolation, maybe we'll get a hint that one day he'll return. Actually, here's an idea. Kakashi is hokage in The Last. Perhaps Sasuke will return when Naruto actually becomes Hokage himself.

I think Sasuke will still get a good chunk of time in the next movie. We need to see how he has come out after he and Naruto finally reconciled their rivalry. Kakashi probably not so much. I think we mainly be following Naruto and Sasuke and possibly Sakura, but I am not worried about Sasuke being left out too much.

There is no reason to assume that Kakashi and Sasuke won't be important; after Naruto, they are the main characters. The movie ads just show us Naruto more often because it doesn't real spoil anything for us to see him running / doing Rasengan / whatever.
