A lil' question abot Sages (sage mod)

Hi everyone
I just happen to wonder what known shinobis have achived the "sage status"? The oly ones i know of is:

Jiraya
Naruto
Kabuto

Are there any more that I have forgotten, and which animals provides "sage traning" (naruto anf jiraya trained with toads and kabuto with snakes)

well those are the only sage modes known in Naruto Verse till now. let's hope kishi will revel more mode

But isnt it like the sage mods are asociated with the summos that one can use, could there be a dog-sage mod, a monkey-sage mod, a slug-sage mod- etc. ?

As far as we know that's all the sage modes out there. So every other answer you get will just be people's speculation.

So my speculation would be, if the Toads and Snakes can teach sage mode then I think that there probably will be other summons that can teach it as well.

:shrug: Tsunade the slug queen doesnt have sage. Kishi might make sakura the next slug princess and she goes sage for all we know. (Special requirements ftw)

Sasuke Hawk Sage MoDe

Sasuke doesn't even have a contract with hawks... Which is why I'm pissed off at him still from the fight with Danzo, he pulled a hawk out of his ass randomly without a contract... Anyway it was just a normal hawk, couldn't talk or anything. If Sasuke were ever to get sage mode he would probably have to go to the cat hide out and learn cat sage mode LOL, he can go cough up some fur balls.:ice:

Isn't Oro a permanent imperfect sage, cuz of his eyes and how they are like J-man & Narutos...
He can control/summon all soughts of snakes, also he doe that '8 Branch technique.

why people tend to say toad SM and snake SM it's only SM it's just the place that you learn from the SM is what changes.as for your 2nd question there is a third place(as kabuto said)
called shikkotsurin probaly linked to the slugs.

yea the hawk thing was pretty random. and the perfect size to ride on.

Mmm Btw, why all SM have different transformations? I mean, SM's premise is that if you can gather nature energy(Sage chakra) and balance it with your own ying and yang ya should be able to achieve SM.

But if either Kisame or Tobirama teachs ya the suiton suiryudan (water element water dragon missile) nothing in process changes. You make the same hand seals and the same element manipulation.
Same goes for SM: different animals teachs it, but nothing in the process chages.
