Just something to provoke some thought. Okay so theres this thread I've seen a few times basically reveling the whole plot (validity is still up inthe air, some say its real others disagree) and in this thread one point is that toneri and his "team" plotted the uchiha massacre. So awhile back when i first heard of toneri i immediately thought that this guy must have something to do with the destruction of the uzumaki, uchiha, senju, and kaguya clans. I mean we can basically agree these clans including hyuga descend from kaguya (excep maybe uzumaki) and theyre top tier clans who are gone with such vague reasons except the uchiha. We have no certainty that the senju are gone but its highly speculated. So what im saying it toneri systemically and patiently killed off these clans in form or another.

The thread says toneri is with a scarred uchiha male who talked sasukes father into the rebellion. Which ultimately puts him at fault
