Chapter 9
?Itachi, it wasn?t your fault. I couldn?t see, it was an accident.? She said. Itachi set her on the bed and went to the door. ?Well, what ever the case you got hurt again. Rest, ok?? he said angerly. Nell got wide eyed then sat up in pain. ?Well I?m sorry for making you worry!? she yelled. Itachi squeezed his fist. ?Shut up! Your in no condition to be sarcastic with me! Now lay back down and rest!? he yelled turning back to her. ?No, you need to shut up! I am not some helpless little girl! Yes, I thank you for helping me! Now just leave me alone and get out!? she yelled. He was breathing heavily from yelling. Then he glared at her. If that?s how you want it, fine. Good Bye.? He said shutting her bedroom door. She was shocked he said that. She forcibly laid back down. She listened and finally heard the front door shut. The second it did she began to cry.Her and Itachi had never fought before. She hid her face in her pillow. She touched her head. She laid on the bed. Nell woke up the next morning and sat up. She yelled in pain as she sat up. ?God, why does it hurt even more today?!? she said laying back down. ?Maybe, he was bluffing yesterday. He?ll be back.? She said. She laid there doing nothing.Her head was dizzy every time she stood up. She kept going to the bathroom to throw up due to the fact she was getting sick. Itachi never came for 2 days. And she stayed in her home for that long.?Nell!!? two very familiar voices yelled. ?Nell what happened?!? Rinata asked, entering the house. ?Hey guys, you could have knocked first of all, then second of all?? Nell had finished explaining it all ?Dang it. I know you guys argued a little, but Itachi shouldn?t have abandoned you when you are hurt!? Rinata said, sitting next to Renji next to Nell?s bed, where Nell was getting some rest from walking around and getting dizzy. ?Where is Itachi anyways?? asked Renji. ?I dunno. He has been gone for a day or so.? Rinata said. ?I saw him yesterday, he was leaving Konoha. I asked him where he was going, and all he said is that, it didn?t matter, but he would be back in a day or so.? Nell looked outside. Itachi?. Nell thought. Later that night, Renji and Rinata offered for her to stay at Rinata?s house for the night. Nell said it was fine and she would see them later. She stood leaning against the edge on her balcony looking down at the street.Her eyes widened at the sight of Itachi suddenly jumping up and inches in front of her on the ledge, bending so he was able to look right at her. His eyes looked directly and emotionlessly into hers. ?Itachi??? she said shyly. He didn?t move. ?Itachi? where?. Why?? is all Nell could get out. Itachi put a finger to her lip. ?Don?t talk. Just Listen.? He said. She closed her eyes and sighed lightly. ?For now, you definetly need to keep your distance from me. It will only end badly for you.? He said. Nell shot her eyes open. He was gone. She squeezed her fists. ?How can I keep my distance from you, if you keep coming back around!?!?!? she yelled out. Itachi, who was sitting on the roof, closed his eyes. Nell laid on her bed. If he wants me to stay away so badly, why doesn?t he just kill me then? Why does he keep me alive?! She thought. Soon she went to sleep. Itachi sat in the window looking at her. Luckily she was asleep now. I? hate seeing her this way. But if she is going to stay alive, then she and I can?t be friend, for now. We can?t even look at each other? but?? I must say, I really have gotten to like her too.. he thought. He walked over to her and knelt down by her face. He toched her cheek. He blushed at the feeling of her face. Then snapped out of it. He stood up and walked over to the window. Then he dissappeared. Nell opened her eyes. ?He? thought I was asleep.? She said. The next day Nell got a letter from Anbu. They said since she was still sort of injured, that she may take the week off. So, she relexed all week. Hung around the house, Renji and rinata stopped by ever now and then, but she just mostly stayed in bed. She found a note one of her days off on her door step. It was from an annonomus. It just told her to wear something nice and met them on ?Kendo Ally? which was a very nice and quiet street. Nell was scared but got over it. She put on some black pants and a red lacy shirt. She walked down to the street that night and waited around. Suddenly she felt someone touch her shoulder. She turned around. Her eyes got wide. ?Itachi.? She said. He smiled. ?Itachi?. Itachi you sent this? Why did you..? she said, till he pulled her into a hug.
