Were the seven swords mens swords created by the so6ps using some of his chakra to mould the blades power or did the sword wielders of other generations tranfer some of there chakra to the blades along with techniques?

Im pretty sure I saw somewheres in the manga that they were hand crafted, but by whom, I cannot recall.

I'll go with the latter since it was never hinted that the SO6P was a swordsman of any sort. It would be pretty cool if he was though, I think swordsmen are always legit fighters.
