(Timeline: about 40 years after current anime time)
(Time: Afternoon)
(Weather: Clear with a little clouds)
After a very long time, the sun witnessed a scene of heavy destruction. there are huge craters everywhere as far as the normal eye can see and smoke is still rising from some of them. A Shinobi (Ninja) can be seen laying on the grass. He looks very fatigued and seriously wounded. There are burns and Large cuts on all of his body and he is bleeding continuously.
From behind the rocks a Lady can be seen running towards the shinobi. She also looks injured and bruised but her wounds are not serious.
LADY: Are you okay?
she looks very worried and it seems like she is holding her tears and is trying to stay strong.
A mild smile appears on the shinobi's face in the answer.
SHINOBI: I've eliminated the threat. I got them all. Once again I was able to help everyone. -uh-uh- I'm happy to see you alright. -uh-uh- I...I told you long ago that no one is going to disturb the peace that we created after so many sacrifices and troubles. -uh-uh-
Shinobi is coughing blood. And the tears are rolling out of the Lady's eyes now as she could hold them no longer. Still she tries to make her calm down.
LADY: I sent the alert messages to every village right when you ordered in the morning and when I got the replies and was coming to tell you, I got hit by one of those monster's attack. Just now I got back up and I saw you laying here with monsters gone. But you should have waited for the back up to arrive.
SHINOBI: There was no time for that.-uh-uh- They were going on rampage. They were the pure hatred and destruction -uh-uh- even Kurama and Juubi's hatred was much much less than that. ...Agh...
She then holds his hand and caresses it trying to keep him with her until the others arrive and give him some medical treatment.
LADY:Stay with me...Naruto...come on...stay with me. Everyone is sending help. 8th Hokage Kushina, our daughter is coming herself. Just stay with me Naruto. You're gonna be alright.
She was trying to keep him awake as he was losing his consciousness again and again.
NARUTO:Kushina too huh.... She indeed loves me-uh-uh- more than everything else.
He then closes his eyes again.
LADY (in thoughts): I still remember how you were treated when you were just a child . It was like, you had no identity and you were treated as a nuisance and were considered as a threat. You had no friends and no respect and were all alone. But it was your will and courage that you never gave up. You stood against your loneliness and after countless efforts and hardships you were able to make friends and got admiration and acknowledgement of the people. But then unexpectedly you lost your best friend. I liked him too. I was happy for both of you being together. I wanted to help but wasn't able to do so because I was weak and wasn't much of help but i did what I could to help you get him back along with the other friends. But knowing you, I was confident that someday you'll be able to get him back from the darkness. It took a while but you did it, you got him back for good. I was very happy when i saw you both fighting together for peace. I know about your other pains too and i still remember when your beloved Sensei Jiraiya died. That was a shocking news for all of us and I know that out of all times that was the hardest time for you. Then you fought for peace and defeated Madara and Obito and all others before that who became hurdles in the way of peace. You then brought everyone together and it was because of you that this peace was achieved.
NARUTO: Are you crying my love? -uh-uh- Don't cry. Be happy that I was able to protect you and others.
LADY: I have but one regret. That I don't know medical Ninjutsu. If I knew , i could have been able to heal you in this condition.
NARUTO: Hinata, don't regret anything. you are the perfect thing that ever happened in my life. -uh-uh-
Naruto's condition is getting worse and worse by the time.
NARUTO: They are here... -uh-
HINATA:...........?.. BYAKUGAN....
She then scans the area and finds them. (after a while) Some ninja's come rushing towards them.
KUSHINA: Mom, Dad...
She rushes towards them.
HINATA: Naruto-kun needs immediate medical attention.
SAKURA: Let me check.
Three other jounines came rushing.
1st, 2nd and 3rd: Dad...
1st jounine: Is Dad gonna be alright?
No answer from Sakura.
ANBU Leader: Sakura, How is he?
Sakura turns to Anbu leader.
SAKURA: uh... Sasuke, come here.
ANBU Leader: yeah?
SAKURA(Controlling her emotions): He's lost a lot of blood already and his major organs took massive damage. Now, any minute...
She couldn't say it.
NARUTO: -uh-uh- Jiraiya, Kushina, Minato, Nagato...come here.
All of them came closer with tears in their eyes.
All of them together: yes Dad...
NARUTO: Kushina, come closer.-uh-uh- I'm going to transfer my Memories and Intel about the monsters i sealed. I still have enough Chakra left for it.
He then placed his hand on her forehead. Her eyes opened wide and she was unable to speak for some seconds.
KUSHINA: You were fighting .... fo-ur of these big mon-sters. They are about 30 times bigger than Juubi.
NARUTO: As the Tailed-Beasts are no longer a threat -uh-uh- after I sealed them away with the "Earth-Heaven Sealing Technique"(*) 13 years ago. -uh-uh- i never thought that I'll use this technique again....-uh-Agh-(coughs blood) ... But I had to use it today as they were way much powerful to be sealed with any other jutsu. -uh-uh- Kushina, as I told you before when i taught you this jutsu that this jutsu takes 10 years to prepare itself for being used again. -uh-uh- it means that you will not be able to use it for another 10 years.
KUSHINA: You are telling me this because you think...
NARUTO: Yes. I fear that there are more. But the important thing is that -uh-uh- I didn't sense anyone controlling them -uh-uh- agh-(a lot of blood came out this time)
HINATA: Naruto-kun...!
NARUTO: It's okay. -uh-uh- listen Kushina, you will have to deal with them now as I'm not gonna make it I know. -uh-uh.
Shinobi from other villages also arrived.
GAARA: Where is Lord Naruto?
SAKURA: there he is...
Gaara looked at his condition and was shocked. He than immediately got the idea of enemy's strength with whom Naruto fought. He wanted to say something to his dearest friend but the words were not co-operating. he stood stunned. And at last after a long time those eyes wept again.
Naruto tried to lift his head as Minato supported him. He was continuously coughing.
NARUTO: Gaara, I transferred the Intel and the whole -uh-uh- memory of that incident to Kushina. You might wanna discuss it when you get back. I -uh-uh- want you to keep your guards up all the time and come up with a solution. My time -uh-uh- is done.
Everyone was shocked terrified by looking at Naruto's state. They already had assumed the power of the enemy and were trembling.
From a side they saw a man and an old woman coming towards them.
They came closer and closer. Naruto gave a smile when he saw them. No one else could remember them.
The man was holding a White Camellia Flower saved under crystal covering. he came near with teary eyes and sat by him. He placed the flower by Naruto's side.
Everybody's eyed were filled with tears as they were witnessing something that they never wished and thought of.
Hinata was sobbing and hugging Naruto and was desperately hoping for a miracle to happen and save him. Naruto placed his hand on her head.
NARUTO: Hinata, I Thank you for everything.
NARUTO: Hinata, Kushina, Minato, Jiraiya, Nagato, I know that all of you together, will be able to maintain this hard earned peace. I believe in you. I believe in you all. FAREWELL EVERYONE.
NARUTO (in thoughts): Mom, Dad, Jiraiya Sensei, Kakashi Sensei, Nagato, Lord 1st, Lord 2nd, Lord 3rd, Grandma Tsunade, i'm coming. I hope I didn't disappoint you with what you entrusted me.
He murmured something and then closed his eyes as Hinata felt his body going cold. Clouds rolled in and it started to rain slowly.
Hinata was sobbing, but she collected herself, stood up and wiped her eyes.
HINATA: "We will never forget you. We will never forget what you taught us. Your ninja way is our ninja way. The way of never giving up and keep moving forward no matter what. And we will maintain this peace and protect everyone even on the cost of our lives.
NARUTO BECAME A LEGEND, but will they be able to cope with the challenges that future holds for them? Will they need NARUTO or Will they be able to manage it without him?

(*) E-H sealing technique: A new Sealing jutsu developed by Naruto himself. I will reveal it's secrets when the time comes.
