A Kabuto Weakness!

Okay so Kabuto can resist basically any fighting style ever right? Taijutsu & basic ninjutsu won't work because of Hozuki DNA, strong jutsu he can just recover instantly from, he cannot be struck with most genjutsu and he is also stupidly quick and can blend in with nature.

But- can he be sealed? With or without edos?

I can't think of any reason the Alliance's sealing team couldn't seal away Kabuto. Is Kabuto too fast or too uncatchable or would this actually work?

This is a GENUINE QUESTION, as in- I literally don't know the answer.

When you put it like that....seems strong....but Itachi got him with Genjutsu.....and Bee got Suigetsu in his water form too.....so you just need a big attack or raiton.....aaahhhh, can't be bothered.....

Kabuto is also very difficult to catch and Itachi got him due to plots sake. Itachi and Sasuke didn't get close to fighting him until conveniently the end of the fight.

Trick him then trap him in a genjustu or use tbb because I remember oro saying if he got even he would so I'm assuming the same thing would happen to kabuto!

Kabuto has one weakness: Wood Hammer. It probably is always a OHKO.

Really he probably can be sealed, but you have to catch him or use raiton as he liquefies to cause him to momentarily freeze.

kabuto only got caught because he didnt know who he was.. he's lost hes identity by doing spy missions from kid age...

Itachi and Sasuke didn't wanted to kill him so they were not going all out and this was for plot sake. Plus Kabuto himself doesn't have any of his own abilities plus he can't control stronger Edo's as well so he is not a big deal and can be sealed or killed easily by many strong ninja's like Naruto, Bee, Itachi, Sasuke, Orochimaru, Kages and some more

Yeah but not even one hit? They were dancing around Kabuto's attacks for literally the whole thing and i'm SURE Kabuto can still use Chakra Scalpel and he hasn't just forgot all of his knowledge of jutsu and his battle smarts that put him on Kakashi level...

Kabuto is the most capable ninja we've seen so far. Sasuke, Killer Bee and the Kages stand NO CHANCE With or without edo army (which he CAN control, Itachi found a loophole in it- he still did a fine job of controlling Nagato, a ninja on par with Madara & Itachi. Not to mention the sheer terror of being outnumbered by an army worth of amazing ninja. There is no ninja other than the Sage who could defeat that Edo Army by themselves, especially when the caster is such a good survivor and is so tricky to kill himself. Also Orochimaru? Seriously? The whole point of Kabutomaru is that both Oro and Kabuto weren't good enough on their own to become the ultimate best they could be and get DMS. Orochimaru didn't have the skill and Kabuto didn't have the chakra- them combined achieved their powers.

To be honest the entire Itachi Sasuke VS Kabuto was plot-driven. From Kabuto not taking a single hit to the ending, the entire thing was just a formulaic 'strategy' and barely even a fight. It was literally Kishimoto saying 'Now I need to get Kabuto & The Edo Army out of my way without being too intruding to the rest of the plot' as if he has some form of checklist. The fight as a whole shouldn't even really be argued about because it's the same as trying to discuss Kakazu being fooled by a shadow clone or other plot events.

Obviously, but this thread is about the sealing itself. I'm curious whether it could be done and how easily it could be done. I think it's basically the only aspect he didn't cover.

Yeah Kabuto sure is great ninja and he did worked hard to earn it as well. Since he was on par with Kakashi but now he is on par with Sannins I can give you that for sure. I sure can agree that Kabuto in DSM mode can control Nagato and Itachi for sure but to he can't control Madara, Hashirama for sure since they can break the control with ease.

Kabuto v/s itachi, Sasuke fight was meant to be formulaic and strategic one for sure but Itachi prevented Sasuke from attacking Kabuto directly and neither did he attack him in the fight. If both of them would have gone all out in that battle then Kabuto would have been dead and Sasuke would have seriously injured for sure. That fight did showed kabuto has improved remarkably in the fighting and it was his mind in which he perfected the edo tensei.

But even said so he would be defeated by Naruto and other SM user as well for sure and same goes for the Kages as well

I totally agree with you but there seems something off about the WHOLE Uchiha Bros/Kabuto fight. I don't even mind that Kabuto lost, I just wish it had been in a more realistic and less bullshit way (and trust me there are a LOT of other ways I can think of)

Still, I personally do not think that Naruto & The Kages could defeat Kabuto though, that's just my personal opinion. Edo Army or not.
