Now at first it said Hagaromo fought the tentails and sealed it inside of himself making him the tentails jinchuriki

But then later it was stated Hagaromo and Hamura seal the ten tails when fighting it with CT.

So can both of those scenarios exist or do they contradict each other making a plot hole?

Would he have sealed it in himself first then release it on his deathbed then seal it?

But that can't be right cause him and Hamura were young looking when they sealed the ten tails

So it's impossible for both scenarios to exist

Last time I checked the ability to seal chakra points in the eye was a Hyuga feat not an Uchiha feat, not a Senu feat. in addition, Hyuga are the only ones with a seal capable of sealing away dojutsu.

The only problem I have with this explanation is that hagoromo had the gedol mazo in his body after he separated the juubi's chakra into the bijuu or at least that's what kurama said.

There are two distinct facts we have been given:

1. Hagoromo and Hamura sealed the Demonic Statue directly after defeating the Ten-Tails. Infinite Tsukuyomi separates the chakra and husk, so Hagoromo was left with the chakra.

2. Hagoromo had the Demonic Statue before he died, as that's how he survived extracting the Tailed Beasts.

The only correct assumption then is that Hagoromo summoned and absorbed the Demonic Statue some time in-between; most likely in order to preserve his own life after extracting the Tailed Beasts.
