Okay, what's up? I've counted like twenty something anti-hiruzen and pro hiruzen threads. Was there a chapter 675 spoiler with him in it I missed or did mine or someone else's debate about him spring this?

No. Some people believe Hiruzen is fodder, but thats because those people think anyone is fodder compared to their favorite character. Hiruzen is the strongest in the Narutoverse. That does not sit well with people so they try to prove it as untrue but to no avail.
