Ambush
Before taking off. Tobirama looked back for the last time.
“Saru, protect those who have faith in you, and who love the village and train up whose to whom you can entrust the next generation. Starting tomorrow you are the Hokage…”
Finally realizing that it was their last time standing face to face with their hokage, group bowed down. Hiruzen acknowledged: “yes, sir.”
Realizing it’s time to take off, Tobirama whistled: “Go, and go now…”
Hiruzen took the lead and group started to move behind him.
Tobirama started to look for a place best suited to ambush the enemy. He wasn’t planning to be just a decoy. He was going to bring down as many enemies as possible with him. He found a river. It would be enough for his water release. Normally he wouldn’t need a water source but not this time. He was going to need every bit of his chakra. While he was planning how to ambush the enemy, something came to his mind. His eyes were widened. Then he took a deep breath, calming himself to make the right decision…
“Forest, Kinkaku Force”
Ginkaku: “Damn it. I knew we shouldn’t have let the sensor ninja die.”
Kinkaku: “Calm down. We don’t need a sensor right now, we have them right where we need. Watch out though. I believe we’ll be ambushed soon.”
Ginkaku: “I hope they hurry. I’m getting bored”
Unlike his brother, Kinkaku wasn’t planning on letting his guard down. He knew how fearsome the Second Hokage and his team were. He took a look on his subordinates, knowing that some of them were about to die. But they knew that as well and they were prepared for it.
Time passed by. Kinkaku saw a river. He knew about Second’s water release. So if they were to fight there the enemy would have the advantage. But Kin-Gin brothers wouldn’t go down that easily. He ordered his men: “ They’ll probably ambush us by this river. Be prepared.”
They began to move slowly, analyzing the nature.
Ginkaku: “Come on out, Konoha dogs! I’m tired of this hide and seek game.Come out and fight!”
Kinkaku: “Ginkaku control yourself or you’ll get yourself killed.”
Ginkaku with a sinister laugh. “Give me a break will you? We both know it won’t happen.”
Kinkaku: “How many times do I have to tell you? Do not underesti…”
It was an echo of a deep voice that stopped Kinkaku from finishing his sentence.
“Water release: Water Shockwave!”
The water inside the river began to rise up above, and then it began to surround the Kumogakure shinobi.
Ginkaku: “So, it finally started.”
Some of them scattered, some of them used defensive ninjutsu. 2 of them jumped in the sky. Kin-Gin brothers were the farthest behind. They didn’t have to do anything to protect themselves.
Another voice echoed right after the first one;
“Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!”
Those in the air had no chance of defending or dodging. Only thing they could do was to watch a dragon, rising from the water, penetrating their bodies.
After 5 seconds of chaos Kinkaku looked around. He saw 15 of his men remaining. It meant that 3 of them were already gone. But there were only two bodies and no sign of Second Hokage.
Ginkaku: “Tsch. That bastard. Will they go for guerilla tactics all the way?”
Kinkaku: “I don’t know. But let’s wait here. As long as there is water he will try to defeat us.”
3 minutes or so passed but there was no sign of a second attack.
Ginkaku: “Damn, I’m bored.”
Kinkaku: “Don’t relax yet. It’s about time he made his move.”
But unlike the expected, Tobirama appeared in front of them. He was slowly walking towards them.
Kinkaku was surprised. He was almost certain that they would face with another sneak attack. For Second to show himself like that was just stupid. He didn’t believe that Second Hokage would come to surrender like that. “You are underestimating us. I expected more than Konoha’s Second Hokage.”
Tobirama: “Talking isn’t necessary. Let’s finish this. Shall we?”
Ginkaku: “We wouldn’t have it any other way. After all silence is golden, right?”
Kinkaku: “Alright then Hokage. Let’s get this over with.”
And when no one expected, another voice echoed:
“Wood Release Secret Technique: Nativity Of A World Of Trees!”
