Rebekah had been strolling through an unfamiliar location, perhaps she was lost. However, she refused to admit it. Above her flew Snow, Hawthorne and Odair, three little birds tied to her summoning contract. They accompanied her at all times and tried to point her in the right direction. "This way Rebekah!" Snow cooed. "No, it's this way!" Hawthorne would chirp. "You both are always wrong, she needs to keep going straight." Odair grumbled. Rebekah found herself tripping over her own feet, trying to change direction every 5 minutes, unsure of where she was going. The only thing that she knew for sure, was that this place was made out of pure beauty. Hundreds of bridges hung from mountain to mountain, all varying in height and size. The mountain ridges grew out of an enormous mass water, almost like a sea, surrounding them from all sides. If one fell down between the mountains, it would be a long fall, and they would nearly be engulfed by the raving blue liquid. Trees of all sizes and shape, all green, littered the area, along with abnormally sized mushrooms.

"We've passed by here many times already, Rebekah-chan..." Carla, her tiny white cat summon mumbles as she sits on Rebekah's shoulder, licking her paw nonchalantly.

"Ugh!!!" Rebekah began to pull at her hair in frustration. A short tempered woman she was. Scanning the area with tired eyes, Rebekah nearly missed the appearance of a man atop a different mountain. With frizzled hair, she wasted no time and found herself lunging towards his location. Maybe he knew how to escape this maze of mountains.

Description: With this technique, a signer of the Mockingbird summoning contract can call upon the trio of miniature mockingbirds. Snow, Hawthorne and Odair. These mockingbirds are a lot smaller than most mockingbirds, each roughly the size of a tennis ball and capable of flying at great speeds. These Mockingbirds each specialize in recreating different sounds of battle.
- Odair is able to recreate the sound of a larger weapon such as a battleaxe, large rock or a trident traveling through the air.
- Hawthorne is a master of explosions, able to recreate the sounds of many varying sized explosions pitch perfectly.
- Snow is a master of the silent whoosh. He can recreate the sounds of small weapons travelling through the air such as kunai, shuriken or senbon.

These Mockingbirds are close to useless in an offensive sense due to their lack of size, however, with a whistle different to that of Valor's they can be summoned to the field in a near instant by signers with access to sound release. As well as being familiar with the sound summoning method, the Mockingbirds can be summoned to the battle each in a different location and anywhere up to long range of the summoner.
-One bird cannot remain on the battlefield alone. There must be at least 2 alive.

Description: The user performs the Summoning Jutsu, either through Hand Seals, their Summoning Tattoo or their Summoning Scroll to summon Sharuru. She is a small, white cat with pink ears and brown eyes. She also has two whiskers on each side of her face. Sharuru wears a pink bow near the end of her tail. Carla's usual top consists of a mustard yellow and pink top with a pink bow tie. She has the passive ability to transform into a humanoid form via the Transformation Technique though more akin to Tsunade's useage having a more permanent form, which she uses as a means of combat - being able to use Taijutsu up to A rank, while also moving twice the base speed of her summoner. She is able to be summoned twice per battle, lasting four turns but in order to resummon her the user needs to waits three turns after his dismissal.

Nature was wonderous, and mysterious. Nate had journeyed for many a day, through wilderness, rain, storms and thick clouds, climbing higher with each step. It was during a dark night, filled with clouds passing over the mountain tops, the rain drops falling on his shoulders. He passed between large boulders, rocks and across the sides of the mountains, until he reached the valley of mountains. It was filled with bridges, the lanterns lighting up the path, and the massive mushrooms standing taller than trees were scattered across the surface. Nate journeyed across these bridges until he reached a large clearing, where he would creep in under one of the mushrooms for shelter, pulling out some of the pieces of wood and things he had gathered on the way, creating a fire in the shelter of the mushroom. He fell asleep to the sound of the fire, and the raindrops falling on top of it.

The next day, he would sit under it, meditating for a while, he had never seen this sight before, but he had to meditate to gather his thoughts. It was at this moment in time he heard someone coming his way, not only someone moving with quick steps, but he could hear some other creature moving with the person, it was on four legs, his hearing would never faulter. What might have eluded his hearing would be the flapping of wings as many birds fly across the sky and in the area. When he heard them arrive, he would open his eyes but simply sit under the bright red enormous mushroom, poking the fire with a stick as he smiled.

“Hey, what brings you here…”

Rebekah stopped right near the hindsight of the man, and her ears twinkled. It had been days since she heard another human speak. She opens her mouth and speaks without any hesitation or quietness.

"I was on a mission, and when returning, I took a few wrong turns it seems." She explains. Carla then butts in, grumbling, "turns that I told her not to take!!!" "Okay, okay, Carla, shush, we get it, I'm a broken compass." Yeah, broken in more ways than one, you nut head! "Why are you calling me a nut head!!?" Because! Look at my furr you nut head! I told you not to go all ballistic during the mission and yet you bit into the mans damn neck! "Carla, please, it'll wash off. I'll give you a nice bubble bath when we get home, okkaaay?"

Her expression softening, Carla simply nodded and curled up into the crane of Rebekah's neck, like she always loved to do.

A moment of silence passes after all the chatter. "So, do you know a way out of this fantasy land? How'd you end up here?" Rebekah would ask, leaning her wait onto her left leg, acting almost as if the bickering never occurred.

"What sort of mission..."

Nathan muttered as he stood up and stomped a few times on the fire putting it out. His dark blue shirt and black pants, accompanied by his trusty satchel and his shoulder holster, holding his rather ambigously large hunter knife. The only trait that would generally give him off as different would be his abnormally pointy ears, though his ruggedly handsome exteriory would do well to conceal his inheritance. His shaggy, dark brown hair, with a few white strays among them, was a sign of him getting past his prime, and the few wrinkles showing was not helping his case.

"Well I myself is a ruggedly handsome adventurer and treasure hunter..." He walked out from under the mushroom and into the rays of the sunlight that came through the scattered clouds. "And I just so happened to travel through this place and found it to be intriguing and different to what I usually experience."

He was rather curious as to what a woman such as her was doing out here, she did not look like a shinobi nor did she look like she had been on a mission. He stepped forward looking at the animals that surrounded her.

"Strange company that you carry with you... What village are you from? what mission have you been doing?"

Rebekah took note of his pointy ears and even leaned in a bit to evaluate them more, with the squint of her eyes. She listened to his reasoning of being here and nodded slightly. Hunting treasure. Adventures.

"I come from The Village Hidden within Sin. But-- don't worry, I mean, it's not as bad as it sounds. We're all a bit crazy and a jumbled mess, but some of us, me included, use our past sins as a learning experience and try to better ourselves. And, strange is better than plain old boring and simple, right? " Rebekah scratched Carla's chin.

"My mission... I'd rather not speak about it. It's kind of against protocol. Even so, I'm not one for rules, so don't think any less of me." Rebekah grinned then began to browse the surroundings once again. "Treasure, huh? Find anything good? She would ask.

 

[Gutsy]

"You don't look like someone who would usually follow protocol."

It was a simple remark, though it was something that Nate thought of most people, if they were put in the right environment and pressured just right they would usually choose the easy way out. Though hearing that she reigned from the village hidden within sin, he figured that it was one of those places that were quite inhospitable.

"Well I myself is more of an adventurer whom... well takes whatever treasure I can find, which is why I intend to take some of these plants with me..."

He stood there smiling and scratching his hair, he was so careless.

"Or... perhaps you got something of value" His careless and friendly face turned serious, his eyes hard as stone as he looked at her.

"The only thing of value I've got is my heart. Made of gold some say...." She appears serious, but soon starts muffling a laugh, though she can't push aside the serious aura that just appeared from the man. "Perhaps you're interested in my heart of gold?"

Rebekah leaps up to the top of the mushroom they were slightly under. Her birds circle above her and fly in sporadic, random lines of flight. Carla is wide awake upon her shoulder. It was clear Rebekah had grown tired of just wandering around and was wondering if she could provoke the man into a little brawl.
