I'm just gonna post this up as this week's been good in regards to plot development in naruto (both manga and anime).
The intention of this thread is not really me posting a theory but rather reviewing this weeks manga and anime including some of the things others may have not picked up on.
Naruto Manga Chapter 671 we discovered:
Nice chapter!
This weeks Anime (Episode 357) also had alot of plot development even though it was a filler episode:
So all in all.... a good Chapter. Plot development in both Anime and Manga have been good. Also worth noting the new opening and ending credits and animation at the start and end of the Shippuden episode. Has alot of things within it relevant to the current plot in the manga... 5 Kages, Ten Tails Jinchuriki Obito, etc (even though it is still behind in regards to recent advancements in the manga).
There are loads of new theories regarding the Manga... but then i'm not going to type up many of mine on here... might post some interesting theories later; however, but feel free to let me know some of your theories in regards to current occurances.
Good one Kishi.. finally a good week for Naruto.
The intention of this thread is not really me posting a theory but rather reviewing this weeks manga and anime including some of the things others may have not picked up on.
Naruto Manga Chapter 671 we discovered:
1) The history of Indra and Ashura (the two sons of the Sage of the Six Paths) and the existence of their chakra in which they have reincarnated within Sasuke and Naruto.
2) Rikudo Sennin now passing on his will and an ultimate powerup to both Naruto and Sasuke.
3) Kaguya, the mother of the SO6P had a 9 Tomoe Sharingan as well as natural eyes that were the Byakugan; leading towards an explanation regarding the origins of the Hyuuga Clan (it's about time Lool)
4) We learned more of the details regarding the process of Infinite Tsukuyomi; the fact that the Juubi/god-tree will connect to the bodies of those caught under the Genjutsu and keep them sustained via Chakra whilst keeping them prisoner at the same time.
5) Obito was successful in transferring the Chakra of the bijuus to Naruto, meaning that Naruto now has the Chakra of all 9 Tailed beasts.
6) The Sage of the Six Paths had also been speaking to Sasuke whilst speaking to Naruto.
7) And not to forget Gai. His 8-Gates Evening Elephant has been doing some serious damage to Madara, however Gai is now going to have to use his final technique 'Night Moth' to try to defeat him; although I doubt he would be successful in defeating him seeing as Naruto and Sasuke are being given their powerups by the Sage of the Six Paths to defeat Madara themselves.

This weeks Anime (Episode 357) also had alot of plot development even though it was a filler episode:
1) We learned about Itachis earlier days as part of the Anbu. We understood he did indeed have loyalties to both the Hidden Leaf as a whole, but also he had loyalty to his clan the Uchiha.
2) Finally got to see some interaction between Itachi and his father, and learned more about his fathers standing within the Uchiha Clan as well as his reputation held by even Leaf Elders such as Danzo.
3) Got to see the Uchiha Stone Tablet, and remembered that the Uchiha were indeed a proud clan, but as much as they were we could also sense the beginnings of what would lead to the Uchiha Coup D'etat against the Leaf.
4) We were able to see Itachis tact in approaching the subject of Kakashis Sharingan. He did this without ever exposing his own Sharingan to Kakashi or the rest of the Anbu, so we can see he is actually very intelligent.
5) Kakashi making the point to Itachi that 'a friend gave him his sharingan based on a promise: 'that he would never let a friend die'. This kind of explains Obitos initial madness when he kept saying 'You let Rin die.' to Kakashi; this also could mean that what he also felt was that Kakashi had broken his promise which was the condition of receiving his Sharingan (according to Kakashi).
6) We learn that Guy had asked to join the Anbu but was refused permission by Hiruzen; initially being told that he was 'not suited' to Anbu the first assumption was that it may have been because he was not good enough... but the truth was that it was because he does not contain the 'darkness' that Danzo seems to want in the Anbu.
7) Was nice to see a younger version of the Kakashi, Gai, as well as the Itachi and Sasuke relationship they had when they were younger. Was also refreshing to see some shinobi battles using the original 'Naruto' style of fighting: ie. using Kunais, Taijutsu, and Ninjutsu; rather than all the OP moves we've been seeing lately (not that it's all bad - but yh was good to see some old school Shinobi Techniques)
However, that said, i would like the anime to return to Cannon.
