A good person

What do you think a good person is?

Do you think someone who is a drug addict can be a good person? I'm not an addict but I definitely enjoy not being sober and consider myself a good person.

If someone harm another being just for pure fun does that automatically make them bad?

A good person imo is someone who adds substance to the world more than they take from it. Harming someone for pure fun is obviously evil. Hitler is one of those debatable people. He was absolutly crazy and had good in his heart but he went the wrong way about "saving" the world so he is a bad person. Lil things like drinking doesnt make you bad but it can increase the chances of you being a bad person (domestic violence as an example)

I have learned that I cannot define myself, anyone else or anything at all in definite terms. Everything is different than a symbolic projection that we humans give unto it, and nothing is actually understandable. When we are able to see people without wrong views or conceptions about them, than we are truly able to see them as they are. Seeing people in this way, everyone is "good" because we can then be compassionate and deeply understand them.

We can define evil, just like we can define "good". Can we see Hitler and retain our biases about evil (i.e. it is wrong to kill children) yet also simultaneously SEE Hitler (experience Hitler the world without preconceptions?)
