In case of India, not everyone can afford Internet. Mostly, people use internet so that their kids can use it as long as they are studying. Later, they can still stay connected or cut off the connections.
So it would be good to gather the pile of manga volumes instead of surfing on the Internet every time for little information. Also it's not like you need to buy all the manga volumes at a time. It can be bought on monthly basis. =D
