Hey everyone! As you can see, I decided to name chaps, it's a lot easier and less boring. Anyway, this is a new chapter of my story, i hope you like it!
Previous chapter:
- Sorry, what? – Say asked. The dragon took deep breath.
- I see I’ll have to explain a lot of things to you – she said.
- Try to make the explanation quick and possible to believe in it. When I think, after everything that happened, it won’t be hard to believe in anything you say now – Say said, exhausted .
- I know what you’ve been trough. I know it’s hard to believe and even listen to anyone in your situation. But believe me, there were people before you who experienced the same – Amateurasu whispered. “I must have gone crazy” , Say thought.
- Ok, I’ll try to listen – she said.
- Very good! Now, where to begin? I’ve told this story more than a hundred times and I still don’t know how to explain. Well, let’s start from beginning – Amaterasu whispered and disappeared. Say started to fall down, lower an lower and just when she thought that she won’t stop falling, her feet touched the ground. It was cold and the dark was surrounding her. She felt so alone and sad. Like the sadness from all over the world collected in her heart. Then she heard Amaterasu’s voice.
- This is how everything looked in the beginning, before universe was born. There was nothing. Just deep, cold and sad nothing. Do you feel the pain?
- Yes, what is it? – Say whispered. From the moment she fell down she was feeling a pain in chest that was getting stronger and stronger. She felt nostalgic for something, but she didn’t know for what. It was like a need for something that can’t be explained.
- That’s the need to be born. Remember, you’re not alive now, you’re just something that waits to be made. You feel the need to be, to live, to be something. Here, you’re just nothing. Is this feeling familiar to you? – Amaterasu asked. Say confirmed: - Like I remember it from somewhere –
- You died. And now you want to be born again. Everything that is on earth and in universe we know once dies, and is reborn. Before we feel the need to be reborn we live in some other world, understand? We live in the world that was before. Before anything, we live exactly here. You remember that feeling cause you already died once. I took you into your own memories that were locked in you. This is what you remember from your past life – the picture changed again. The girl was standing with a kunai in her hand. Kunai was above one boy’s heart. The girl was crying. Above her was one red eye. Kunai moved. Sheets were covered in blood. Say closed her eyes and screamed. When she opened her eyes, Amaterasu was in front of her lighting the dark around her.
- Seems familiar? – she asked. Say confirmed.
- That’s how…How I killed Shuzuke… - she cried. Then in her head a question showed up.
- Wait, if Shuzuke is dead, isn’t he supposed to be in the world before? Why is he still here? – she asked. Amaterasu laughed.
- It’s because you decided that you need him here. He has unfinished job and after he finishes it, he’ll be gone – she explained.
- So, that mean, spirits have a choice. To stay or leave, right? –
- No, they don’t. Spirit guardians decide will they leave or not – Amaterasu said.
- Then, why is Shuzuke still here after all? And what are spirit guardians? – Say asked confused.
- You decided that you need him! You decided for him to stay! –
- Are you trying to say that I’m one of them? That I'm a soul guardian? –
Amaterasu confirmed.
