Ok, this is the 2nd chapter of a story "A girl named Say". A link for the 1st chapter is:
It's a bit different than the first chapter and that's the reason why I didn't put prefix on like I did the last time.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it! Here it comes:
She just stood there not knowing what happened. Did she kill him? That’s impossible! She spent all night in the bed. Anyway, her mother would know if anybody had left the house during the night. She didn’t do it, there’s no way she did. But her dream, her bloody hands and kunai next to her were pointing the completely different thing. They were saying that she’s responsible for killing her best friend. And that red eye. She wanted to know what is that and why is it haunting her. She step on the floor very carefully like she was expecting for it to disappear or something. But nothing happened. She stood up and went to the bathroom. She had to wash her hands and to find out is it even possible that she killed Shuzuke. She remembered nothing, but the blood…
She washed her hands and looked in the mirror. Her eyes were bloody red and suddenly the blood started to cover the mirror and everything around her. In the mirror there was no longer her. There was Shuzuke. He was pointing his finger at her and he was saying: - Say why? Why did you kill me? What have I ever done to you?! –
- No, you don’t understand! It wasn’t me, it was that red eye! It forced me to do it! Shuzuke it wasn’t me! – she cried and fell on the floor. In front of her, Shuzuke was standing. Well not him but his spirit.
- How is it even possible for you to see me in this form? – he asked. She looked scared and suprised.
- I…I, I’m not supposed to se you? – she asked him.
- No, I’m a ghost now. Just a spirit. A useless spirit without a body. Why did you kill me Say? – he asked her again. She closed her eyes hoping that this is just a nightmare and that soon she will wake up and everything will be back to normal. She moved to the corner trying to escape from him. She heard the voice again.
- Don’t be afraid Say. He’s just a ghost, he can’t hurt you… You want me to send him away? - it whispered. It was getting in her body and even her blood and bones were scared. Every cell in her body was shaking in fear.
- No! Stop! Stop it! Go away! – she shouted. Shuzuke looked scared.
- Who should disappear Say? What’s happening? This room is full of negative energy, what’s going on?! – he whispered.
- Run Shuzuke. It’s the red eye. It’s coming to get you. Go away, I’m begging you! It forced me to kill you. I tought it was just a nightmare but I was wrong. Please go away… - she started to cry again. But it seemed that Shuzuke had no intention to leave her.
- There’s no way I’m leaving you alone here. I never had a chance to tell you but I think I was in love with you. I know who the real Say is and I know that she would never hurt me. I know it. I’m not running away from here, I’m not leaving you. There’s no chance for it. Now tell me everything and I’ll se what I can do to help. I guess I can’t do much but… - he stopped because she hugged him. Normal pupil can’t hug a ghost but she could.
- Thank you… Thank you so much! – she said. He was confused.
- You know that I’ll do everything to help the real Say. Now we have to find out is the real you strong enough to stand for her freedom against that red eye that’s haunting you… - he replied. – And don’t worry, you’re safe with me – he smiled.
Suddenly the red eye appeared. She screamed.
- Do you see it? – she whispered.
- Yes I see it. Who are you? –
- I’m your worst nightmare! – the eye said and one red ray hit Shuzuke.
- No! Stop it! Stop it now! I won’t let you hurt anybody anymore! Enough! – Say shouted. From her hand one blue laser ray hit the eye directly. It screamed and burned down to nothing. Shuzuke was standing in the corner and her eyes were blue again…
- Wow! – he said. Say forced herself to one tired smile.
