This is what I liked about part 1. Most people had unique jutsu style rather than just a nature affinity. I like Shika's shadow jutsu and Shino's bugs and Kiba's beast mimicry and Choji's expansion and this guys gum better than variations of water and fire etc.

Probably a lot of ways or at least it could. 1. Spit pieces on the ground works like land mines. 2. Blow bubbles that trap rushing enemies. 3. Stretch out pieces that harden like swords. 4. Blow a bubble to reduce impact. 5. Blow multiple exploding bubbles.
