i just want to know, how many students are you training at the moment?
because right now, when ever i post in one of my training threads, i get 5-8 training requests and all of them are new members or sort of new...

right now i have 10+ students, almost 3 per thread, and most of them are at different times zones =/

either we should have more senpais and get rid of the inactive ones or promote some of the noobs by giving permission to use that element and jutsus because i cannot handle training too many students and dealing with rl actives >.<

i suggested this before, that skilled RPers be given training or permission in all elements, and become either senpai's or sensei, so as to help alleviate the student load.

Hmm I think that that is untrue. Their are a lot of sempais at the moment. Finding one is not much of an issue however finding a sensei is.
I read your profile message and I think that their are a few people who are fit to be sempais that are good RPers and capable.

I however have to disagree with this
I know people who get trained in all basic 5 at a time so I think sempais arent that hard to find but finding senseis is tough. Basically I find that if people would be patient and not want to be trained in all elements at a time it would be easier.

However I have a suggestion... That sempais should be more trained because I know some who just post techniques. I believe a sempais duty should to be to post the technique and all their knowledge along with it so that the student fully understands it. Also sempais should make it tougher for students so that they cant just post three sentences and get on with it. This will make it more difficult and actually force the student to focus and take time in his replies.
Thats my opinion on this.

I totally agree cause the only senseis that I have we're from traing applications and 2 of them dropped me. The other 2 impretty sure forgot. So now instead of having senseis they gave me they're senpai. So now I have inch (hasn't responded in forever), pain.. (hasn't responded in forever), Jacob Moore (hasn't responded in forever, but he has a reason), and dr house(only one who replies).

well, i really also meant to include nin, gen, and tai, it just slipped my mind. Another thing could be to make temporary senseis, for say 6 months, and at the end of the 6 months they do the sensei test to become official sensei, if they dont pass they are reverted to regular members

Sensei wise yes. However sempai wise I find it untrue. If people didnt get taught in more then like 3-4 things at a time I think we would have plenty of teachers.
I have seen people mastering basic five within a month or so. I started RPing at the end of December and myself have gotten a lot done. I agree that their arent that many active senseis, but the sempais are getting a whole lot into the new RPers heads (such as myself) Despite the fact that their are sempais who just post jutsus, I find with battle training most people are amounting to something quite good. And I dont think their are a few hundred RPers I think its 200 max that are active.... Maybe less tho I might be wrong Im talking about the people I have seen around the battle arena and training grounds since december.

>_> brings me to another point.. people these days want their training done too quickly, trust me.. training is one of the most enjoyable times in the rp and rushing through it destroys that... also your case isnt that bad.. i myself joined the site in august 2010, but didnt finish my training til jan 2011, 2-3 months is actually nothing in this rp >_> i just wish more people would see that.. xD

That way of thinking however just makes students bored of the RP, and despite all things considered just because you dont battle often doesn't mean your an inactive RPer in fact i hardly ever battle yet im taking part in kumos tourney 0_0 i'd also like to point out that approximately half of tye regularly adtive members RP, so about 2500 active RPers compared to about 20-30 people who train

I know. Personally myself I love training although sometimes I am not in the mood too. I am kind of mad at myself for finishing up a lot of my training so quickly, personally I would much rather have knowledge then power because in the future we will all be on even grounds and having skill is much more important. And isnt that why most RPers leave? After you are done your training there is no sense of adventure or achievement anymore? Im missing that >_<

All though I'm not a Sensai or Sempai I do how ever agree that the new generation rplers are really getting larger.me I only just stared role playing and I barely made it into training yet.

Im brand new myself but to me it seems a lot of people are starting RP and are fresh like me. Finding a senpai isnt terribly hard, but finding one that has time to train is. No offense to my senpais but I only really have 1 that is active. The others are too busy and havent even really had time to post before the beginning and thats not fun at all. I think there could be some modification in the system.
