*I take my sword and using my right hand, flow Raiton chakra through it. I have the Lightning chakra take up the opposite charge of what Nagashi is. I then place the sword into the ground by forcing the blade into the dirt. Then, as the clone does Nagashi, the charge of his Nagashi is attracted to the charge of my Raiton chakra-infused sword. Since the Lightning in his Nagashi flows freely, it moves to my sword, rather than my sword flying towards the clone. My sword being stuck in the ground also helps with this. This causes the lightning to flow into the sword instead of coming at me.*

However this only works on free flowing lightning based techniques such as the Chidori current and not on focused lightning based techniques
