[Discussion] A forgotten Jutsu!

OK, it' not Rinne Tensei, it's not Edo Tensei, it's not Amaterasu, Susano'o, Tsukuyomi, Rasenshuriken, Raikiri...It's neither of them. I think this jutsu should be able to dodge many jutsu's like Amaterasu. It's called

Replacement Technique WTH
Yeah it's pretty forgotten never seen it being used anymore, and besides it can be good against Amaterasu i think. Last time I saw it was Itachi using the Crow Replacement Technique. So?

Actually, they are ninjas so yeah they should use more kunai and taijutsu and replacement jutsu instead of overwhelming superdestructive jutsus...but I guess it's as it was in DB/DBZ...

Kawarimi no jutsu right? I don't it can be used against Amaterasu per se (though I don't understand why it couldn't be honestly) and I'm only guessing because Sasuke said he specifically had to use Orochimaru's version to dodge Amaterasu.

Though I agree with you, it could save lives, and I sure as hell would be spamming that jutsu.

Replacement technique only works on noobs, you are tricking someone into thinking an inanimate object is you. It's not a get out of death free card. You act as if u could substitute yourself after u are already hit by amaterasu which is false.

last time it was used is, when sasuke fought deidara. Know everyone became so powerful, that the show lost its root and stopped hand seals

It can't be used on this battlefield and there is a good reason for it. thake a look at it, it's a wide open space, there is noting around to use as replacements, no trees to take logs from, only other shinobi.
so it's not a matter of not using it, it just can't be done safely at the moment (unless a they get a big pile of logs from far away to put in the center of the battlefield )

Now, this is just a theory, but what if that is what takes down obito? A poke so powerful that it knocks obito to his senses and makes him realize that madara is just a sexual predator made immortal?

The subsitution jutsu (an academy jutsu) would change the story a bunch, actually most of the academy skills and techniques learned would. What's the point in learning them if you don't use them. "Genius"? Yeah okay, so smart he didn't use a substitution (given he had enough chakra).
