A few questions...

I'm thinking about starting to use photoshop,since it would really help, but before I do, I need some general knowledge questions answered, if people wouldn't mind.

1. Which is the best one to use?: Photoshop, Gimp, Paint.NET
2. Are they free? (I'm a minor; and I don't have a credit card)
3. Do you have to download anything for any of these programs?
4.If so, how big is the program? (I have a netbook [Really crappy laptop, with low marks] so I can't use anything to big)
5. Which one is easiest to learn to use?

1. I would say Photoshop im currently using 6.0 and im getting along fine (they dont even sell that version now)
2.Most probably or if you have a friend who has it borrow it and look for a free pass (that part is illegal)
3.Photoshop you can download extra stuff kinda like the sims 2
4.Depends on what version of photoshop you get
5. Photoshop def. itunes even have podcasts on how to use photoshop ^^

i recommend photoshop but is not free, gimp is though so maybe u should go with that one
photoshop cs4 is the one i use and its pretty big, dunno how big exactly and im too lazy to check >_>
and no u dont need to download anything else for this.

But if saying truth , I think Gimp is better if you are a starter =P
