[Spoilers] A Few Questions About This Chapter

Epic chapter, seeing Renji's bankai. First off, Renji basically just one shotted a sternritter that took out two vizard captains (who were dumbasses to not use their vizard abilities, but oh well.)
Where do you think Renji belongs now in the Shinigami standings? I was just talking to a friend about them not filling the spot that Kyouraku vacated when he became captain commander, and Renji being this strong seems like the obvious choice now. I think its so hard to compare his strength to other captains, because after seeing this he honestly looks far too OP, and this zero division treatment is going to put them on another level compared to everyone other than maybe Kyouraku, Zaraki, Ukitake, Shinji? and possibly a select few others. With 100% confidence, I can now say that Renji is top 10 on the shinigami side, and finally seems to be getting some respect from Kubo.

On another note, do you think that Rukias bankai name was also revealed to her? I get the feeling the answer is yes, although I don't know whether I believe she actually has earned the right to use a bankai yet.

well nothing is impossible she might have earned the bankia it might not be at full power and can probably use it for a time limit but she surly has her bankia. wow I wonder what else they have been taught

Rukia is the character who actually deserves a Bankai she's the main female protagonist, she defeated an Espada with just her Shikai. Rukia is well overdue a Bankai.

I agree Rukia has done some plenty stuff in relation to the story but thats coz of plot position IMO. Renji and Ikaku are ahead of her as far as Shinigami(ism) is corncened. Well maybe she is close to Renji but I think Ikaku and Renji deserved their Bankai coz Renji did reach materealism and Ikaku as having been Renji's senmpai only makes sense him having one before all of that. Its gonna b an a**pull Rukia having Bankai coz it was he himself Kubo that yadad about steps to getting Bankai, then now there is just know its name and u are solid(What The Steve), and with Renji fighting first I can see Rukia eclipsing him in her fight coz manga usually save the best for last but I call bs in even her going to soul palace(wasnt that much wounded, didnt have a bankai (stolen, broken or even awakened).

Well renji is strong but we've yet to see Ichigo, if anyone is fit for captain commander based off of strength it will be him.

agreed. she's been needing some sort of power up. and i'm sure by the time byakuya makes his return he'll be stronger than renji is. he was already badass, so training with those guys and getting' a new san should be interesting to see.
