Hello folks

I submitted my first bio about 2-3 months ago, and it hasn't been approved yet ( I know that it can take long)
Now, my first bio is a Samurai Bio. Which means that I can't learn the basic 5 elements. So which leaves me with
Taijutsu /NB Taijutsu /Kenjutsu /Samurai Arts. But I can't learn them either because you need to have an approved Bio to be able learn something in NB RP, which to be honest is really annoying for a starting RP'er as myself. I am really really at the edge of just giving up on RPing because of this waiting period.

How can you expect a starting RP'er to stay interested if he has to wait months before his first Bio gets approved?

Isn't there a way to speed things up, idk like making a sub-forum with dedicated people to approve incoming Bio's on a more rapid paste? From experience and from talking with people, I notice that people are afraid to make certain bio's just because of the insane waiting periods. which in a way is a barrier holding the NB RPing back and players can't show their full potential.

anyway, those were my thoughts about it ^^

Then how are you in a Village already? :what:

Well anyways Scorps said they tried many ways of speeding things up, but at the end of the day it didn't really seem to work out.
I heard it doesn't take as long as 1 month tops and I know a lot of people who go approved within 2-3 weeks.
So I don't know why yours is taking forever.

Alright... re-post your bio now, I guarantee it'll be approved in a few days (reborn will check it).
2nd... Along with that post a canon bio so you can learn elements because kenjutsu and taijutsu training is er... really hard to get.

I actually have a person willing to learn me the basics of a samurai, the real issue is getting that named Bio approved
btw: my second bio will be a puppetry, so I was wondering if learning the 5 elements will be needed there?

There's isn't any shortcut to getting your biography to be approved quickly that I know off, and bugging caliburn or any other role pay moderator in charge of bios is strictly not allowed, the beginning of any process role play included is always the hardest so all that is required from you is mere patience, if you want to help caliburn or the fellow moderators you can Re examine your biography once or twice for any errors or things you forgot to mention or put this would make it to be approved with ease and at once, I joined this site roughly two years back and It took me more than a year just to master the basics, so there's no need to rush. That sub forum ideas you mentioned has been suggested quite a couple times I think.

I know that learning the basics takes time ^^
It's not like I annoyed him, I just asked him once and he said to wait until he gets to it and that was the whole conversation xD
