Hey all,

I know I don't meet the 50 post minimum requirement yet but I just had a few questions I wanted to clear up.

1) When you create a bio and you meet one post requirement, Genin for example, and then you reach the requirements for Chunin do you need to post the bio again as an update or do you need to create a whole new character?

2) When I begin training am I training to reach a certain rank of whatever element I want to train? Say I am a genin and I want to train to D-Rank Doton jutsu. Do I learn all the jutsu that are D-Rank or do I need to train those as well?

3) Is a genin allowed to have a custom jutsu of the element they have trained in.

Thank you :). I know these must be basic questions. I've been reading through the Hitchhiker's thread to RP'ing and just found these to be the most confusing.

You generally only update your bio when you've accumulated a fair amount of training or want to modify the bio's primary abilities (KG/HA) and history. Simply advancing in post-count rank or learning just D-Rank techniques of a single element aren't really good reasons to update your bio. As for your second question, you train to the highest rank possible for your post-count rank and only in certain things. Once you begin progressing in ranks, you can then learn more advanced techniques and fields. If you are a Genin training specifically in Doton, you will only learn the techniques listed under D-Rank for Doton. Now, custom jutsu can be made at any rank, but your submissions must reflect on both your rank and training. If you do learn the D-Rank Doton techniques, for example, then you may submit D-Rank Doton techniques in the CJ Submission thread. Should you learn the D-Rank Katon techniques, then you may submit D-Rank Katon techniques, etc.
