Cyan : courage, You need courage … (holds a flower and crushe it with his hand)
Genji : why did you crush it ?
Cyan : to show you why you’re special here hold the flower with your bare hands …
As Genji held the flower with his bare hand the flower regained its form magically …
Genji : wow ! I did this ?!
Cyan : yes , and you can do even more, because you’re special …
Genji : (blushes) that’s too kind of you mr.cyan … but the villagers really won’t accept me even if I had such power …
Cyan : well you didn’t try …
Genji : You mean …
Cyan : yes Genji, go right now and show those villagers that you worth living with them …

Cyan : (takes out a necklace and put it around Genji’s neck) here this is a lucky charm, you can have it as a gift of our friendship, now what’re waiting for go and show them that how a good boy you are …
Genji responded to him naively and rushed to his village all in happiness, as Cyan was waving at him smiling …
Back in town, Gary was looking for Genji, as he saw Genji at the town square slamming his fists into the ground, he ran toward him to get him but before reaching him and all of a sudden the ground’s blown and thick tree roots were emerging from everywhere in town capturing the villagers Gary eveded some roots and yelled at Genji :
Gary : (Cutting some roots) Genji ! what in the hell is going on ?
Genji : I don’t know Gary … I can’t hold them !
Gary : you mean you’re behind this ? but how ?
Genji : (shed a tear) I really don’t know (tries to pull his fists from the ground) I’m stuck, please help me …
Gary : hold still I’ll get to you ….
As Gary was cutting his way through the raging roots, he suddenly Hit a root but his sword was stuck, he tried to pull it but looks like the roots harden every time he cut them, unaware as the regenerated roots are about to hit him, some ice darts sliced them into pieces, he looks around to find Ame standing on a root :
Gary : Ame ! thank God !
Ame : Gary what’s going on ?
Gary : I don’t know exactly … but we need to get to Genji …
Ame : where’s he ?
Gary : in the middle of this mess but it seems that they’re weak toward those ice darts …
Ame : I … (she fainted)
Gary : (jumped and carried her) Ame what’s wrong ?
Ame : it seems that these roots suck out Magia from us …
Gary : what’s a magia ?
Ame : no time to explain, it seems that they suck power at direct contact I was bare footed when I stood on that root so it sucked my power, but you wear shoes that’s why you’re safe …
Suddenly the ground starts to melt giving a mud like structure …
Gary : now what ?
Ame : it’s strange look even the houses are melting …
Gary : but wood doesn’t melt …
Ame : something wrong, we should stop Genji quickly before another bad things happen …
Gary : but how ? these roots are harder than my sword … and if you steped on them they’ll suck you and we can’t step on a ground like this …
Ame : I have an idea … quick carry me on your back I’ll cut the roots for you, and you get Genji !
As Gary headed toward Genji he pulled his sword out the root with ease –which was harder then the sword moments ago-, Gary suspected that as he cut a larger root :
Ame : but it was harder than your sword just now …
Gary : quickly use your ice .. !
Ame : I don’t get it …
Gary : the roots ! they change their weakness every time they get hit, if by sword they get strong against it but weak against ice and the opposite when you hit them with ice ….
Ame : watch out !
As so Gary carried Ame on his back, and gone deep through the raging root forest, until the sight of Genji was possible, Genji was stunned because most of his body has turned into a tree-like body, the root attack became more ferocious, Gary tried to risk and dived between the root only when he was a point-blank away from Genji’s neckn noticing the ncklace, but the roots caught him and started to suck his magia insantly, he felt a bit fainted but angrily he cursed the roots and riskily bitten the necklace and cut its chain and swallowed it … and then all the roots seemed to be dried out, and every villager along with Gary,Ame ,and Genji broke free, Next morning they found their selves at Genji’s house, and his mother was preparing some treatments for them …
Ame : (feeling a bit pale) huh ?… what happened ?
Granny : oh you’re awake ! my God that was some battle you had last night …
Ame : Gary ! where’s he ?
Granny : don’t worry he’s outside with Genji …
Ame : thank God, he’s fine …
As some noise like people fighting is heard outside the house …Ame and the Granny went outside to check …
Gary : Dammit ! ya bastards I’m telling you ! he didn’t mean it !
Villager : (along with a group of men and women) Step aside stranger, we’ll have this demon burned …
Gary : he isn’t a demon ! he has a name and he has a mother ….
Villager : (pointing a hay fork) don’t make me use power on you young man …
Gary : (cuts the fork into slices fastly) O, really ?
Villager : (steps back) wh… why you ?
As the village men were about to engage in a hand to hand fight with Gary, Genji stood between them and said in a very sad voice :
Genji : alright, if you don’t want me in your village, then fine I’ll leave it right now but leave Gary, and mother alone …
Villager : I think even demons think with logic, heh, what a freak …
Granny : … Son … are you sure ?
Genji : yes mom, it’s for the best of every one, and I’m 15 now I can count on myself from now on …
Granny : fine then I’ll pack you some food and take care of yourself, and don’t bother your friends.
Gary : Don’t worry granny he’ll be alright, I promise.
As Gary, Ame, and Genji their new friend left the village of Badesta heading south to the empire, all hope to find answers about Gary’s identity, in the shadow of the sadness of Genji
