Gary : … but Ame isn’t it a bit expensive … I mean it’s very nice to invite me for lunch but you should really be careful with mo…ne…y hey ! isn’t it great ! I just remembered that I like spicy roasted meat !
Ame : tee hee ! I’m really happy for you …
As their order is served the two ate till they’re stuffed, The waitress came to take the check …
Waitress : that will be 1000 Jeads ma’am and sir …
Ame : okay …
As Ame pressed her throat, her mouth got filled and she puked a shiny leather wallet, Gary couldn’t hold himself and vomitted grossly … Ame felt a little embarassed from what happened and added 500 jeads as a tip and to clean the mess …as they got out Gary held his stomach saying :
Gary : (feeling dizzy) ugh … man … that was disgusting !
Ame : oops … sorry I didn’t know you’ll get offened … that was extra stupid of me…
Then they approached a bazzar they asked a man in the entrance where could they find a doctor, the man refused in the begining but after focusing on Gary he told them with suspecious looks that they’ll find a clinic in the end of the alley …. Following the instruction they finally got to the doctor …
In the clinic, the doctor tried every way he knows to help Gary but it seems that his amnesia is hard to cure …
Doctor : Sorry Ame, but it seems that he got a real problem with remembering, maybe if you returns him to someone or some place he knows that’ll increase the chances of curing him …
Ame : that will be a little hard, since he doesn’t seem to be from here …
Gary : (feeling depressed) sigh … (a sudden pain strains his head that he put his hand on the left side of his forehead) ugh …
Doctor : (examined a small blunt on his forehead with a len) hmm … that’s … that’s interesting …
Ame : what is it doctor ?
Doctor : this blunt looks familiar … I’ve seen it before …
Ame : where ?
Doctor : I’m afraid you’ll have to leave this town immediately for your own safety …
Gary : is something wrong doctor ?
Doctor : I’m afraid my boy you have the Royal Tyrant seal corpse on your forehead … you may be related to the tyrant army somehow … and as you can see people like you aren’t welcome here so you better be going now if you want to be safe …(some noise out side is heard) oh no it’s too late here (opens a secret basement door) follow the tunnel and you’ll be out of the town head south to a farming village named Badesta from their ask about the capital and you may find clues about you if you reach it …
As Gary and Ame, used the tunnel a mob of people got into the doctor’s room, he was smart that he broke the window and some furniture to fool them that they attacked him and escaped on the roof …
As for Ame and Gary they seemed to reach the village of Badesta with the sunset, they felt a bit tired and because the village was a bit small there was no inn or restaurents in it wich made them find it a little hard to find a place to sleep with the villagers’ attitude seems a little grumpy toward strangers, they ended lying back on a wall of small house on the top of the town …. Suddenly the door opened and an old woman called them to enter, and offered them a humble dinner, :
Ame : thanks granny that was very nice of you …
Granny : that’s fine dear you and your friend seems to be nice people … but what’re you doing around here ? are you homeless … ?
Ame : no Gary lost his memory and I wanted to help him and return him to his home … (as the door opened and a low voice talked)
Voice : mom … do we have guest tonight ?
Granny : aah ! that’s my son Genji … come here son, and say hi to the guests …
As Genji entered the room, Gary seemed to be displeased of his tall and heavy clothed appearence …
Genji : um … hi …
Granny : please forgive him … he’s a bit shy and rarely talks … Genji it’s very rude to wear a hat in front of our guests take it off …
As Genji removed his hat to reveal his purple skin and strange three dark green leaves growing on his head … Ame and Gary were a bit surprised of his appearence but they tried to hide it in term of good manners, after the dinner Gary insisted that Genji shows him the village … while Ame stood to help the old woman doing some house chorus a conversation occured :
Ame : so granny, excuse me for my question but what tribe is Genji, because he doesn’t seem to be human …
Granny : kukuku, He isn’t human, it happened straightly after my husband died in the battle … I was in one of those caves I found a small bed of hay and a baby with a « Genji » written on the wall next to him so he was like a gift from god to help me in my loonliness … I’m not sure what tribe he’s but it seems that every one is displeased with him around the village.
Ame : (to herself) I hope he’ll be fine with Gary …
Back to gary and Genji , who were taking a walk in the village when suddenly a pebble headed straightly to hit Genji in the head, Genji covered his head and shed a tear, Gary felt angry and looked toward the farmer who threw it and « flipped the bird » in front of him saying : « Hey ! you bastard why did you do that to him ? » … the farmer ignored … Gary got pissed off and took the pebble and threw it back at the farmer and knocked him out « that’ll do it, right Genji ? » said Gary, but it looks like Genji disappeared … Genji who ran away and hide in the woods, drowned in sadness and started to talk to himself « Why every body hates me ? why I’m different ? What have I done to be hated like that ? … » Crying under a huge tree suddenly he hears a strange sound from the bushes « Gary ? is that you ? » he asked … moments and a shadow of a tall slender man appears from the bushes who talked in a soft voice « Don’t worry Genji … I’ll help you … I’ll be your friend … »
